Wind Waker should have no problems on the one you listed. Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword will have speed problems. Four Swords Adventures should be fine. Collectors edition runs like crap no matter what.

Pokemon games are rather demanding. They will be playable though.
Zelda WW will work fine. Zelda TP and Zelda SS will be playable but not full speed.
Harvest Moon games will work fine.
Mario Kart GC/Wii too

The Core i7-3610QM and the i7-3720QM are solid CPUs which run most games very well. As GPU, I suggest you to look for a GeForce GT 650M (3xIR in all games, 4xIR in some games) or GTX 660M.

If he use directx11 backend , most games are not playable
Should switch to Nvidia GPU or just stick to Directx 9 backend
Inspiron brand is Dell's most affordable and most popular line (entry-level) . They will run hot and may overheat with Dolphin
The best type of laptop for Dolphin is gaming laptop with dual fan-cooling (not the overpriced Aliencrap)

My problem with getting an Asus G55vw is that I would have to get it shipped from America to the UK. And it's about £300 over budget.
