----- here are the snapshots of r6040 -------
    -- fps:32

------------ here are the snapshots of r6030 with the same setting and the same scenes as r6040

What happened? it's an internal wip not meant for regular user seeking for final quality software, use it for feedback only or wait for final/beta release. Of course you're also free to use it as your main build but don't complain about any bug, slowdown or it deleting all your porn.

I am going to just flat out say you are full of bull and are just trolling now, none of these commits would have had such an impact on speed. I'm not sure if you are trolling or just ignoring the advice and feedback that was given, or both.

We told you why it was slower, it has nothing to do with the optimizations, get it through your head. Rolleyes

>.> let's see (only mentioning things worth mentioning the settings you probably use): 6032 & 6034 = speed optimizations; then someone reverted some 6032 changes (soren.jorvang who got -14 from his change) , in 6036 this change got reverted again XD and something was added which I don't understand, in 6040 MMMU speed optimization...

3x optimization
2 changes by skidau... theoretically Dolphin should run faster... your computer is on drugs lol

How comes the revision getting worse and worse performance ??

Please do not tell me that it's made better accuracy on graphics or something eating my cpu while the r6040 runing ! I have to say that even the released version has ALREADY made a good graphics in most of the games and I really cannot find any improvement in graphics from the current revisions actually.

Please ensure that the modification would keep the same performance AT LEAST ...

The guy is obviously stressing his hardware with his configuration. There is also the fact that some games have slowdowns in certain areas, experience random slowdowns, speed will differ and fluctuate from one playthrough to the next. This has nothing to do with recent commits, this has been an issue with Dolphin for a while, there are bottlenecks in the code do to timing issues and other bugs.

The guy keeps ignoring the advice and feedback we are giving him, bent on claiming that these optimizations reduced his performance. That is not true, and he is one of maybe a couple members reporting a speed decrease. So far configuration issues were pinpointed as the cause of their performance issues, stressing the hardware with graphic intensive settings and using unnecessary settings.

Another thing, the games he is reporting issues with are only intended to run at 30 FPS, he is already getting full speed. Resident Evil 4 has slowdowns at various points throughout the game, which is unrelated to recent commits.

I've noticed games that are supposed to run 30 frames actually run 60. Fraps among others will report 60 frames when the emu shows 31. Its full speed none the less. The new rev is a lot slower than 6036 though. I'd say someone needs to put out a rev thats best for all, but with every rev fixing an issue in another game, its not possible. I OC'd my cpu up about .2ghz and got a 5 - 7 frame increase in games I was not getting full speed. The new rev isn't slower, its just got bad frame fluctuation.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, it is just funny considering everyone else is reporting no speed decrease and increased speed. There needs to be widespread reports before the developers will look into it, so far the developers felt it wasn't worth looking into as this supposedly affects only a few members.

no, the devs are making emulation more accurate whether you can see it or not. If you don't like this then get the fuck out of this forum you dumbass.

edit: and it's not just the graphic's that are improving, there's alot more to emulation than that
