Dolphin 4.0-6428 x64 keeps crashing after I installed drivers to let me use a 3rd party wii u adapter on my pc. The crash happens as soon as I open dolphin.exe. However, before I installed the drivers dolphin was working fine. I was wondering how I should fix the problem.

You may need to check the dump files or windows logs.
Have you tried uninstalling those drivers to see if the issue goes away? They may be unstable drivers

I did try uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them, but they seem to work for other people, and I downloaded them following instructions from a guide on the dolphin website. Also, dolphin works fine if I do not open it with my adapter, so I think it might be the problem. Also I am using the GTRON GC controller adapter for wii u. 05-28-2015, 04:22 AM
So after messing around with everything, I figured out the problem, It seems to not work in a usb 3.0 port and switching the adapter to a 2.0 port fixed everything.

If it matters you may want to update your usb 3.0 drivers

You shouldn't use 3rd party drivers with the wii u adapter. You want to use this guide (https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?t...in_Dolphin) for the native support effect. Makes everything a lot nicer.
