Huh  Huh  Huh

Hello,
So I just downloaded Dolphin for the first time a few nights ago onto my Macbook Pro. Was so stoked to play Legend of Zelda WindWaker again for the first time in years!!

Download of Dolphin went smooth, got my game rolling on the screen... and no keyboard button was registering as 'Start'. I spend over an hour trying to config my keyboard looking through threads online and youtube videos... to NO AVAIL! You can imagine my frustration.

After a little research online I find out about Wiiu Gamecube Adapters with USB ports and a lot of threads praising the ports for working like a charm. I order a Mayflash adapter from Amazon and it obviously works, moves my mouse around on my screen just fine. But Dolphin STILL does not recognize the controller or register it in-game.. Spend more time online sifting through forums to find out I need to install a driver for Dolphin to recognize my old gamecube controller... OK, found driver from dolphin-wiki for newest update... driver has downloaded, installed, rebooted my laptop... still no recognition?! There is also a mention of a 'Direct Connect' box I have not seen anywhere in the settings of Dolphin.

WTF am I doing wrong? This has got to be a terrible user error. I just want to play my game.

Here are a couple screen shots of different settings I have tried....PLEASE HELP! Notice in one image the control stick red-alignment dot way at the top of the box?? What is happening?! D: I have spent hours combing the internet trying to figure this out!

Thank you!  Big Grin

You need to actually configure the controls after selecting another device.

Thank you for the reply.. So I did not clarify above I have actually tried to configure them.. but the buttons on the controller nor any of the keys on my keyboard register to the corresponding button on my screen. I get the "waiting..." then back to blank. What settings do I need to have drop down menus on for Dolphin to read the controller?
