Hello!
First of all, I swear that I wanted to post this on off-topic section (Delfino plaza) since it is not strictly related to Dolphin, only to Wii hardware (but I won't spam the forums, even to reach "just a few" 10 posts)... So, my apologies if this is not the exact place.
Once clarified this...
I'v bought a clone wiimote set (built-in Motion Plus, plus a Nunchuck) plated "Motion 2in1", and am having dificulty to sinc it with Linux distros - mainly Lakka and Batocera (didn't tried "pure Linux" yet, even RetroPie, due lack of time). The fact is that the same wiimote pairs like a charm to Dolphin - both Linux than Windows versions (the first, gimmickless, the other using the zadig "trick" to bypass bluetooth since the dongle/stack didn't recognized the controller properlly), while on these Linux'es I'v even trusted/paired the controller, but it doesnt remains effectivelly connected (rumbling on pairing, leds stabilizing etc). I'v, also, searched for help on the respective distro's forums, as far an intensive research through internet...
Until now, the only conclusion I'v come is: I am the *cough-cough* "proudly" *cough-cough* owner of a copy of (maybe) the only brand that is not supported by any system but Dolphin itself! All I'v found about was a few unfinnished threads, many of them more than six years old, and even one or two GIT issues that remains open since then...
Note: my main target is to use a Wiimote as light gun, even on other systems/emulators. As joypad itself, I have both the cheapest DragonRise dualshock shaped ones and even two (also clones) BT DualShock 4.
My alternatives should be: buying original wiimotes (this already bought I have costed about ~BRL150 bucks, ship free; an original one would cost about ~BRL300 w/o a Nunchuck; and a whole 2nd hand Wii set may cost atleast BRL350~400), or buying a dedicated light gun, like Sinden Guns (wich may costs over ~BRL580 - a half of my montly salary - shipping AND importing fees NOT included!
Okay... I also would just be happy and satisfy myself only with own Wii gun games... But there comes also the challenging of doing this crap fully working (and sharing the results with the rest of the world)! And, since Dolphin dev team has already somewhat solved this issue, I'v decided to come asking for help!
So... Any help? ~_~'
