I can't get my Wii remote to work with dolphin.
It is showing up just fine under the show blue tooth device. Even the wii remote controller setting shows that 1 wii remote is connected. When I hit pair up, the controller would viberate once and then thats it. In game it does not responde at all and when I certain games like Super Mario Galaxy it gives me an error message saying the controller is interrupted. One thing I did notice is that when ever the game is running in the main dophin window it says connecting... in the bottom instead of wii remote connected.

I am not sure what is causing this. I order my wii remote and blue tooth adapter from meritline so they are probabaly the generic kinds.

Any help would be appreciated. I am really trying to get this to work.

Thanks

I have the same issue as you. Everything connects fine, It shows up under bluetooth devices and I have tried connecting with both dolphin and windows. It connects fine and registers as controller 1 and vibrates when I refresh.

I have uninstalled all BT and wiimote drivers in device manager and reinstalled more times then i can count. Tried alt F4 and starting the game they quiting and restarting with no luck. I even tried this method I tried from the forums http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=8759.

I have both official wiimotes and sensor bar and am using a logitech mx 5500 BT in dongle mode with the windows BT stack and Toshiba Stack Version 6.10.07.2 nothing will work any game

If anyone can help plz advise

1. Which version(s) of Dolphin are you guys using?
2. What does your Wiimotes show up as in devices and printers?
3. Probably quite unimportant but...Unknown9935, you said that when you hit "pair up" the controller would vibrate once right? Are you sure you didn't mean when you hit "refresh"?

Unknowns Wiimote might not work with Dolphin, but i don't understand why Nindo can't get his to work since it's an official. Anyway, if nothing else, i just bumped this thread so maybe someone who knows the actual problem will see this.

Beats me. The easiest way to get it to work is use a real Wiimote, buy a normal BT dongle, I used one from Walmart for $20. Use the standard BT stack that comes with Windows 7, and everything should work just fine. If you try to get out cheaply, using imitation controllers or accessories, then what do you expect will happen?

try the following, disconnect all other USB devices you have hooked up to your PC.
leave the mouse USB connected.

REinstall the Bluetoothdongle (try another usb port).
Try a different version of Dolphin emu, and see if it works.

thanks for the advice I will try any older version first before i unplug all my usb items but as of right now

Dolphin r7690
wiimote is listed as Nintendo RVL-CNT-01

and yes when i hit pair up it vibrates once when it syncs then if i hit refresh it will vibrate every time

just tried r7691 and it works flawless. Thanks no idea why i didn't think to use an older version. Too bad i can't get glovepie to work

Well i'm glad you got it working. I wanted to know if your Wiimote showed up as anything else than Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 because that might help shed some light on the problem. Anyway your saying you just tried r7691 and that revision worked flawlessly, but as far as i understand your also implying that you are using an older revision, which makes me think you made a typing error.

Would you please tell me if you really did use 7691, or if you made a typo, what revison you DID use? I want to know because i can use it to confirm my theory about why you couldn't get it to work.
