I've been messing with settings and googling trying to solve this problem but can't really find anything to help fix it.
I'm trying to play Pokemon XD and I'm running into a very specific problem. When I'm holding down on the touch screen control stick, if I hold too far down, it instead inputs as up instead. This occurs with both the control stick she the c stick, and only happens in Pokemon XD and not any other games, and only when holding all the way down in the stuck, not any of the other inputs.
After googling I see that certain games if the radius is too large it will cause the input to loop around. I can't edit the gcpadnew settings to lower the radius value because the file gets overwritten when I open dolphin. I followed this thread to create a custom input profile, but after I load the game, the on-screen controls stop working, because dolphin seems to load a GCKeyboard01 as well.
Sorry if it's mentioned somewhere on how to fix this on here, but I can't find anywhere. I tried installing a couple different versions of dolphin and the problem remains. I've spent the past couple of hours messing with it and just couldn't find anything to help fix it aside from using a controller (which I can't do right now)
Is there maybe a simpler solution I'm just completely missing?
