Hdd causes Small stutters , any way fix?

I have noticed some parts of my games seem to stutter when i'm playing. (Loading from internal hdd
Toshiba 3.5-Inch 2TB 7200 RPM SATA3/SATA 6.0 GB/s 64MB Hard Drive DT01ACA200)
Did a defragmentetion but did not help.

Then i tried to copy the game to my ssd... BAM!
Works flawless!

Any reasons why my hdd seems to cause stutters?
Still have enough free space!

Access times are lower. That's all I can think of.

If you're using Dolphin 3.5 like your profile says, you really need to update. There have been huge improvements to the disk access performance since then.

Also, if you've enabled "Speed Up Disc Transfer Rate", disable it.

No, already using latest build.
Will check if the Speed Up Disc Transfer Rate option is disabled when i get home.

THX dude , this did the magic!!
This emulator now works so smooth and looks soooo good on my system!
