Yeah. I just uncheck and recheck Dump Textures instead of Load Custom Textures. Probably an issue with both of them, like you said.

Also, remember how I said I keep a permanent backup of my Dump folder. I just move it to a different folder every time I pull out useful files, to help prevent cluttering the dump folder. Well I just moved that entire folder to my Load folder. So now it's not dumping any of those IDs. Makes it a lot easier to spot new, useful textures that we might not have on our list for that script you made.

That's a great idea, it does get tiresome looking through 1000's of textures all the time. First thing that's going in there is those useless 1x1 - 8x8 textures.

Yeah, so much garbage. Obviously the filter is still extremely useful, prevents having to ctrl / shift click files manually forever to dig around the junk. But still, much less clutter so you might actually be able to spot new stuff that's not on our list. And you can still dig through the folder if you think you missed something before. It's pretty much win/win.

Also, prepare for alarge influx of character portraits. I'm getting all of the portraits from the gifting screen (items -> collectibles -> use an item to raise affection.) Apparently that screen uses it's own portraits as well as it's own "present" icon that is also used in the Quest screen. So, if there's as many there as there were used by the Art/Skill tree screen, going to be a lot.

In case it's hard to see in the smaller red box, the branch part doesn't line up with that section of the tree.

Big red box = weird tree highlight effect.

Hmm never seen that before, it looks like the type of distortion that can happen in OGL when a texture is the incorrect dimensions, like dunban here:

That's definitely the correct textures for it, has 3: SX4P01_005b4e4a_0, SX4P01_bedeef11_2, and SX4P01_ce6717a4_0

The bar not lining up, I'm seeing two textures for that: SX4P01_0bb7d7de_9, and SX4P01_3b226141_9. What's odd is they are different sizes....
Scratch that, I'm not thinking straight. Those two textures are something different. I'm gonna have to dig up my old save file and investigate more.

Edit: Try these frozen and see if it fixes your issue. They need some heavy fixes, but it was a quick and dirty edit to see if they show up correctly in game. No point in going through the trouble if it doesn't work.

Edit #2: The pure white ones are actually the black ones in game. The new scaling does look more correct (circles aren't squished). The ones with the black border I'm not sure if they are the glow or not... I modify them but it seems to change nothing.

Okay, let me know how the scaling thing works whenever you get around to it.

Also I think the problem is the texture in my thumbnail, which is actually one of the 10-15 textures I made myself.

I actually made the two "special" brackets from the three "main" bars last year. Whoever redid the UI originally didn't account for the unlockable skill trees, so I took matters into my own hands. I'm sure I just didn't line it up right, like I said, not too great at this stuff.

They fix the original problem on my end. They present some new ones... but I think that's because of what you mentioned. They are at least aligned properly.

I'm assuming the new problem is missing background? If so I'm fixing that now. And for the bar, you mentioned there was two of them?

Edit: Got your post after this one, but I already messed with them. Tongue
Even if it doesn't fix anything, these reworks are still more correct and close to the original than the first retextures.

Hold up a second, don't mess with those 4 textures yet. Something weird going on on my end.

As for the second bar, I just mean the 5th bar of the 5 skill branches. It's just the mirror image of that last texture. Which appears to line up correctly.

Edit: Okay, I figured it out. I have no idea how it happened (well I do, but I don't want to point any fingers :p), but the first pack you gave me was missing one of the border files. I only had 3 of those files you just posted up there. I've put the file in question in the thumbnail below, don't know how you're keeping things organized on your end. Adding that one file without changing the other 3 makes everything line up normally.

And to why I didn't notice it before: Since I didn't have that texture in my load folder, the original file was dumped. When I moved my dump to my load folder to avoid dumping the same textures over and over, loading the different (smaller resolution) texture probably made it wonky. The effect was probably messed up without the 4th texture to begin with, but not very noticeable. Adding the wrong texture to my load folder is what made it all crazy.

Actually it was because it wasn't retextured before, I just discovered it recently. I guess I forgot to mention that. Tongue

..Also, I think thats the last of those hopefully. I'm not sure why there are two versions of each to begin with. I think the one you were missing is more "end game" which is why I only just found it and you just starting having the problem with that file.

Oh, okay. Well whatever happened, it all works good now. No need to mess with them if you don't want to. Glad we got that figured out.

So you have it already added to your own files? No issues on your end?

Yes, and you definitely want to use all 4 that I uploaded. The scaling of the originals was way off and it got squished. I hacked them up and put them back together.
