Haha whoops! I looked through them all real quick before sending and thought I got all the textures that weren't supposed to be there, but it would seem not. Well at least it was an obvious texture that got mixed up and not something obscure. I'm usually much more careful than that but I was trying to send them in a hurry and thought, if I missed anything he'll see it. LOL we both missed it.

I also finished a batch script for filtering out specific byte sizes. There's probably a better way to do it, it's pretty slow in its current state. It would be nice if batch supported variable arrays. This time it does not have to be in your dumps folder, you can run it right from your desktop. If you edit the batch, you can change the dump directory (default user/docs/dolphin/dumps/texts/sx4p01) which you probably won't have to, and you can change the destination folder for where dumps go. By default I have it to "Desktop\FILTERED".

To add new byte sizes to search for just copy and paste one of the "IF" lines and change the value. The list will probably get longer, the downside is it will also get slower.... Batch isn't very good for speed.

Did you forget to upload your new script?

I want. Sad

Also, yes, we both missed it :p. I actually did a quick glance through before I ran the batch, and missed it the first time. Then when I was trying to find the problem, I glanced over it like 5 more times, lol. Oops... Oh well. Pretty much my signal for bed time.

Hmm I could have sworn....
Maybe I forgot to hit add attachment, or zip it first because Dolphin forums don't like batch scripts. I warn you it's relatively slow, but not die of old age slow. I'm not sure of ways to speed it up.

Thanks. I have a large number of textures sitting in my dump folder that I was about to dig out the "old fashioned way."

"Back in my daayyyy, we had to fish out miscellaneous textures out of folders by hand. And if you missed one... well, you didn't want to miss one. And we walked to school in ten feet of snow, up hill. Both ways."

LOL ...If only we lived in an age where you can just think the textures out of the folder. Tongue

I still have yet to actually load up the game and see how some of these retextures look, and still gotta finish that Mechonis Field map... only 2 levels to go... Matter of fact. I'm doing it now. It will take some supernatural forces to stop me this time.

Well, I couldn't get it to work at first. Kind of scared me. But I have my "User" folder on my D:\ drive to save space on my small ass SSDs. Figured my downloads, desktop, my documents, etc. would accumulate a lot of garbage over time. Didn't feel like having to clean out all the garbage all the time. So yeah, put my Users on a 1TB HDD instead and let it be free. Changing that got it to start, and works like a dream. So amazing.

And yeah, I know what you mean. I was a man on a mission yesterday, needed to get the hell out of the starting Colony. Was there dumping for probably close to 10 hours, it was driving me nuts. But I made a couple mistakes last night while editing stuff (caught myself while they were happening, don't worry :p) and knew I had to go to sleep. Only got three hours thanks the two year old, but I'm on a sort of mini vacation right now so I can deal.

Also, I actually cut and paste my left over files from the dump folder to a different folder every time I grab the desired textures out. This keeps the clutter minimal and also lets me save anything I might want later. It turns out it also helps speed up this batch process :p.

That slight texture disarrangement is impossible(for me) to fix so I give up.
Just have her equip any headgear(except glasses) to cover it up.
If someone can fix it, I'd really appreciate it.

@Bighead: One question, since you're also using an Xbox360 controller: Have you been able to get rumble to work? Or is there no way because the classic controller itself doesn't have any rumble feature?

I use a real wiimote. I think it was frozenwings who also uses an xbox 360 controller. It's very possible the game doesn't send any rumble feedback if in classic controller mode. It's probably possible to remap out the button textures for wiimote and play in wiimote mode if rumble works on the controller at all with Dolphin. I don't own an xbox 360 controller to test this. If I knew it rumbled for sure, it could be worth mapping out the buttons for it. Problem is, I have no clue what would go to what.

narcku, I completely suck with hair textures, but I may have found part of your problem. There appears to be more than one texture at work here. Even after wiping out the image completely, there is still remnants of hair. I'm having trouble understanding why because the top of her head looks like it has the remake.

I'm not sure how much you messed with the settings, but right under the "Extension" section where you select Classic there is the Rumble section. I can get it to Rumble in the popup box through the test option, but I have yet to feel it rumble in game.

Is that about as far as you got too? I'm guessing that either the game itself or the emulator doesn't bother sending signals for the authentic classic controller as it doesn't have rumble support.

Edit: Does Xenoblade have rumble support to begin with? I've only ever played it with a classic controller / xbox 360 controller.

Hair textures usually have more than one file from what I can see. However, I haven't dumped Sharla's hair yet since coming back to the project. I'm actually just about to have her join my party in a few minutes.

Uhh it's all using one texture, just that there are different parts of hair.
The... side-bangs/hair (I don't know what it's called) is what's causing the problem.
This is mostly going to be a problem for characters that have long hair.
I had the patience to align the hair when I was working on Alvis, but Sharla just has lots of hair parts (3 on left and right, a few more at the back of her hair).

Edit: Wait, by wipe, do you mean you erased the whole image to white? That is odd then, the top and other hair parts all use one texture.
