Haha, yeah. Once you dump and edit over 20k files you should get a special forum title. Like "Master Dumper", "Stubborn Dumper", or "Gone Dumping", or something to those effects. Would be hilarious.

Also, you should definitely at least update to 4.5U on the front page. Although I'm thinking a pretty huge update might be coming out in the next few weeks. Especially after adding all of these beautiful border sets to all the duplicate textures.

Yeah, Really should. That reminds me, I know a while back someone, I think it was poweredbykimshi, changed a lot of the menus to be brown (Alekzanderk made them blue). Did he change the quick travel menus to be brown too? I ask because I would like to at least try and change it brown, so it matches the original textures. I would know this if I kept up to date LOL

Speaking of which, I'm done with the little borders. They're not perfect because of the way the game deals with these textures in specific, but I did what I could (You'll see what I mean in-game).

The top parts are different from the ones I posted before, so make sure to replace them!

Thanks for the updated bars, I'll be sure to change the ones I've already redone.

As for the Blue UI - I think the only remnants of that are the metallic parts. The piece around the mini map and the metal part on the collectopaedia page.

I think all of the UI is redone though, besides the pop up frame for story quests. I'll include a zip file of the described textures in case you want to take a look.

I don't know what was up with the devs of this game, but they were apparently obsessed with having a million different borders for their windows.

Also, Bighead, there are two different long brownish/gray bars. So if you make any textures for them, make sure you notice that there are two if haven't already.

Wow, I really like those "Story Quest Pop-up Frame" textures. I'll see if I can make those later. I should be able to use stuff from the other boarder ones to keep the consistency going.

Yeah, they look really cool. I'm pretty sure they only pop up for an update to the main story quest line.

I'm just going to save them and all the duplicates for now. If you get around to em, it'll be easy enough just to batch retexture them all.

Made a quick reference pic for the 3 common borders. Are you also batching the 32x32 versions that are similar to the ones used at the load screen? I'm not sure but those may be the ones I tried to do before but failed because they showed up wrong or something. I may have used the wrong borders for them at the time (40x40) which could be why it was showing up incorrectly, and without the white backdrop.
Edit: It struck me. Now I remember what I did. I was also actually batching both the 32x32 and 40x40 versions at the same time, using the same retexture for the 32x32 version. It really messed everything up border wise so I ended up deleting them all and saying screw borders. Now that there is a version for both and I got everything straightened out it will be worth doing both.

I started the longest one earlier, it shouldn't take long to get them both done though.

No hurry, I'm just dumping, dumping, dumping.

Yeah, I'm doing all of the borders. Well the 32x32 and 40x40 versions, obviously the 54x54 has no retexture yet. Theres also the regular corners without the fancy stuff.

Edit: Already up to 3200 new retextured files and I've only stepped foot onto Bionis' Leg. Ive redone the beginning a few times to make sure I got everything, also reloading and what have you. I mostly want to make sure I got all of Fiora's portraits while I can.

I noticed the walls for the 40x40 corners have some strange dimensions (8x40 and 40x8). It took me awhile but I jotted down all the Byte sizes so if you filter that way I included the text. I'm gonna get what I have separated and send them to you so there's a chance its less to dump down the road.

Awesome, thanks. I'm actually getting more comfortable with using the script you wrote earlier for searching. I have a little list I already made earlier of some of the files. I didn't make one for the bars yet, so this will save me some time.

I actually had an idea for a script, I have no idea how crazy it would be or if even possible:

-Creates a folder called "Retextured Files"
-Searches all subfolders for a "NewTextures" folder
-Renames the folder to the name of the folder that the "NewTexture" folder resides in (or some other name, if this is impossible)
-Moves that folder to the "Retextured Files" folder that the script created at the beginning
-Repeats for all "NewTexture" folders located in subfolders.

EDIT: I was thinking about this more, seems like it might cause a couple issues even if it is possible to pull off.

That's not a bad idea, I'll see if I can accomplish it. I'm uploading the borders, I didn't batch them yet. They are all in categories with a Base ready to be except the large ones. They probably have different names than what you made but you know what you're doing.

Also, I'm uploading an updated list with the large borders although they are not retextured, plus something else that could be retextured if anyone feels like doing it. I don't think there is a retexture for this thing, it looks much like a border but isn't. And including the big borders if anyone wants to retexture that too.

To anyone not retexturing, NONE of these attachments have any use for you.

Yeah I have the weird little thing too. I have it all by itself in a folder called "UI - I don't even know," lol. I've only had on dump so far, although I haven't got far into my new game yet.

I'll add those borders to my own retexture batch in a couple minutes here.

I'm uploading my own list here, with yours included, of all of the byte sizes I have currently. I was wondering if it would be possible to create one script that searches the folder for all of the files of these file sizes and moves them to a new folder, since we know the sizes of all (or most of, I can manually fish out the portraits still) the desired textures up to this point.

I apologize for the simple/ridiculous names. I just name things how they are in my head so I can get through stuff faster.

EDIT: already have a v2 up. There is actually a... filler of sorts that Echoes did a retexture for located in your UI-Title_Load folder. I'm not sure if it's 100% necessary or not. But I added it to the small corners section. The default texture is 143 bytes and is just a simple light gray square. I'll put a thumbnail up of an example.

EDIT the second: Another question. Most of your dumps are pretty close to the same amount, except for your medium bars. You have 64 each of top and bottom textures, but only 12 each of left, right, and the 4 corners. Just wanted to make sure you weren't missing anything anywhere in your dumps. I don't know if maybe you just didn't save all of them or what. Not a huge deal, just OCD about keeping the "sets" of ID together.

Yeah, use batch scripting(Use loop to find any subdirectories, then use another loop within each loop to go through the files and compare the size). It should work if you compare the size of original dumped file.
