Hm, I dunno, it's still not showing here. Neither the dirt nor that frame over the minimap. I've unchecked AF, OpenMP Texture Decoder, un- and rechecked the Load Custom Textures box...

BTW, something else: Those hiccups, they (or at least the worst of them) are caused by some shader cache doing something, right? And that stuff is then stored in a file (with the game ID, for every graphics plugin) in the Shader Cache folder under "Username\Dolphin Emulator", right? Now, has anyone ever tried taking that file from someone who, e.g. has played through the whole game? Wouldn't that make all those annoying hiccups when seeing something new in the game disappear?
Could anyone of you guys who played through a lot of the game upload their 'ogl-SX4E01-shaders.cache' file, so I could try it? ^^

I linked this to someone awhile back who was having problems with settings and renaming textures. These are the settings I use and everything works so it's worth a shot.

Okay, well here's the thing I just noticed. Apparently both parts of the save/load pop up use the same "bar" textures. So after adding shading (or whatever you call it) to the bottom box, the top box ends up like this:

I edited those corner pieces to try and make it blend better, but for some reason I can't get the interior shading to line up right:

It definitely looks better in the second pic, but I'm still not satisfied and I'm not sure what I'm missing.

Here are the edited files that go in the same folder as the last one. All around, I think it looks better. I'll let you decide. Just let me know if you decide to chuck these ones in with the other ones so I don't include duplicate files in the later batch. If you end up making them look better, upload the images so I can edit the ones I'm dumping now. Thanks again, sorry for the hassle :/

Edit:

I want to add that besides the save/load screen, every other instance that uses these corner pieces (such as the skip cutscene box) looks fine after editing them.

So, I think the shorter bars on the box get goofed up somehow on the save/load screen. I'm not sure what to do about it.

There were some slight differences in opacity. Try these and tell me if it works everywhere.

Edit: And of course, with the shadow fixed for the top right. Tongue

Yes, those work perfectly. That's why I'm such a noob and should just stick with dumping. Thanks a lot for it though, stuff like that drives me nuts.

Go ahead and use those corner pieces along with the thinner bar textures I uploaded earlier. I'll make sure to use these corner pieces for any further dumps.

If you look real closely at your screenshots, the lack of a shadow creates an issue with the top left corner too. This should hopefully fix everything.

Yeah, I did actually notice that. I don't know how it could have been messed up, I didn't touch the left side bar or the top left corner. Just the top right corner, right side bar, bottom right corner, and bottom left corner. I guess messing with the bottom left corner could have messed something up. Anyway, thanks a lot. Those areas look a lot better now in general.

Just make sure you get all of the files in the right spots, and I'll do the same :p

It was nothing you did. There was probably 2 different versions of these menu borders, one with shadows and one without that somehow got mixed up.

Thanks! But I already have everything the way described there.
Only, maybe I'm a little confused about the ID. I have the US (NTSC) version. When I go to the game properties, it says SX4E01. So that's what the textures also need to have in their name, right? If so, then yeah, everything should be fine here...

I think I made a mistake with those. See, I remember not wanting to release those until I fixed it, and I did. What must have happened was that I accidentally deleted the fixed ones, and released the old ones instead, since I'm noticing that it looks misaligned and inconsistent on my end too, yet in my original post, it's looking fine:

Guess I really messed up there...

Edit: Errrr wait a sec... For some reason they only look wrong at 4x resolution... at 3x or lower, or at 4x + SSAA they look just fine, like in the picture above... Can anybody test this just in case? I guess it's an aliasing issue or the texture's resolution, if that's the case...

While checking out my folder, I also realized that the reason why those edges have shadows (and the reason why there are two of those textures to begin with) is because the little box at the bottom (the one asking yes or no) uses them as well, but only for the sides. Since its corners have shadows, I also added them to the sides to match, but upon realizing that they messed up the other ones, I deleted them before releasing them. Well, I assumed I did. LOL

Whatever the case, thanks for fixing it guys!
