I'm not sure what the problem can be. I only get corruption if trying to use D3D11 (or just D3D in latest revs), but it's a very different kind of corruption than what you are getting, I posted a screenshot below. D3D9 in older revs and OpenGL should work fine, I'm using OpenGL in the latest rev. Nothing that I've tried can replicate your issue. Maybe its the graphics card driver but you may have already thought of that. I know there was an issue with one of the newer nvidia drivers that kept causing Dolphin to freeze on me, 332.21 is stable for me though. I haven't seen much on the issue so I'm not sure if it's your problem. Might need a dev on this one Sad.

Whoops had the wrong screenshot linked. This correct.

They also work fine on the older Dolphin version. So I guess there's just an issue with the way newer Dolphin versions are handling the texture loading. Or do you guys not have any issues with newer versions of Dolphin?
I didn't read your post and I don't think I can help, but which version of Dolphin is giving you problem? Is it the latest one?
And what about graphic plugin?

Like you, I'm not using the newer version either. Last time I played Xenoblade with 4.0 (official build), it gave me problems with audio (BGM and cutscene audio mostly, though I think it's because I wasn't getting full speed). So I stick with older version like you said (3.0 Electrode build for me, with D3D9). It's much inferior fps wise and it still has random crash problem, but no problem with audio/anything else at least.

Quote:You are too hard on yourself, I like every one of your hair mods. I personally think it looks at least 10x better than the original. It makes her hair look very detailed. The only thing that looks slightly off is the bright glow in the center of her bangs. If you could make that a bit more silver like the rest of her head it would be perfect.

Thanks. Guess I was worried since it looked too different from the original.
I've reduced the glow a bit:

And... there is another problem which I think is beyond me, the uv mapping for this crown headgear.
I had this problem with Alvis' hair too, though I managed to "fix" it somewhat by previewing it in Milkshape then editing it 'til it looked right.
But not for this one, since the Melia model I found doesn't have a crown headgear in it Undecided. Hopefully it won't be too visible with the wings on.

I also can't replicate your error, StripTheSoul.

Right now I'm using 4.0-1446. I pretty much have all of the settings at default, besides having the graphics all cranked up to max, on OpenGL. In graphics > Hacks, I have Skip EFB Access checked.

I did change the DSP from HLE to LLE, and enabled DSPLLE on thread. In Config, I have it Framelimit set to Audio. These changes seemed to fix most of the audio popping / crackling I was experiencing, but I hear LLE is pretty intensive and I have a newer computer. However, I doubt the DSP settings have anything to do with the graphical issies you're experiencing.

Have you messed with any of the graphical settings like Anti-Aliasing or Anisotropic Filtering? I would try running the emulator at the most basic settings without anything changed. Just be sure to backup and delete your old settings from your Documents > Dolphin Emulator folder first. I'm pretty sure many of the settings will just transfer to any fresh installs of dolphin now if you leave those files there.

On the texture side of things, I noticed this today since I've been dumping / replacing any of these frames that I can:

Is everyone else seeing the little spots in the boxes in their games with these textures? The bottom left corner has a little nub sticking out, and the right is missing some shading inside and outside the bar. I'm thinking I might try and touch them up a little.

EDIT:

Okay, only took me like an hour to fix those up.

Here are the files. Bighead, these go right in your UI-Title_Load folder. I don't know if you want me to include these retextures when I send you the big daddy pack I know I'll be sending at some point, so let me know if you just copy these right over the ones you have right now so I don't have to worry about it. I doubt I'll be fixing any more pre-existing textures, these ones were just bothering me.

Hey guys, thanks for your help Smile
I had to go back to nvidia driver 332.21 for OpenGL to work, and with OpenGL, the textures are working nicely indeed (looking nice, too!) Smile
I assume the devs know that D3D is having issues with texture loading?
The only graphical issue I found (only playing for a few minutes) was the transitions you see on the image below. I don't know if they're not loading correctly or if the texture is just not finished or something...

I wish, Rodolfo (Tino)'s DirectX9-final-build worked with the hires textures, though, because that one had the least loading hiccups on my machine; and I find those rather annoying, especially because the new sound system immediately buzzes out the sound for half a second everytime.

Lol, the first thing I see there is an untextured brown frame around the minimap at the top! Get me that file ID!!! :p And no, that weird glitch shouldn't be there. Still seems kind of weird. I'll see if I can't go there on my game and get it to do the same thing.

Glad you got your game working, though! Enjoy.

Oh, ok...
That same transition tex issue was also in that town square with all the shops...

Also the Xbox360-buttons are wrong, but I guess that only means I configured the controlls wrongly? ^^

Uh, ah, yeah, how do I get you that file ID? Though, since other textures seem to be missing here, maybe frame around the minimap is normally textured, just not here...?

If you're talking about custom textures, I yet have to receive any good report on the issue. And "neobrain! XYZ's hires textures don't work!!!!!1111" is not a good report.

Haha, don't worry about getting that ID. More than likely if you reload the game with dumping turned on, it won't pull up the same ID again. There are some loose rules to the apparent randomness of the file ID system, but it's hard to get some of them to pop up again. It's probably gone forever :p It could also be not loading correcting, as you stated.

Also, yeah. If you got the xbox textures loaded up in game but they don't match up to your controller, you probably just put them in wrong. Make sure you go switch from nunchuck to classic controller in the controller window, and only edit the settings in the classic controller pop-up window. I'll show you up mine since I use an xbox controller as well:

The 360 buttons don't match up exactly with the classic controller buttons, even though they use the same lettering.

Ok got em, looks like someone got some UI textures mixed up somewhere along the line. Some had a shadow and blending, others didn't. Maybe even me. :0

And I think what everyone is talking about is the screenshot I linked with the garbled textures in D3D. I don't think its working for anyone.

Edit: StripTheSoul, there is a texture not loaded which is why it's not blending. The path was replaced with dirt. Sometime you have to uncheck then recheck the "Load Custom Textures" box.
