If you have a USA disc and want to convert Europe textures (like this pack), just hit enter.
If you have USA textures and want to convert back to Europe, press E and hit enter.
Wait until it says "Finished! Press any key to close this window." before closing it.

Edit: Fixed to have error checking for invalid input and texture region verification so it doesn't create invalid names if the wrong disc region is picked. Code is still an ugly method but should be foolproof I hope. Tongue

I tried to keep it as accurate as possible, and even improved the accuracy of some places like the cliff with the Nopon. One of the ramps is also way off than in the actual game even on the original map which I still need to fix. There's a few things I want to perfect, but it actually is coming along. So far only the lower level, I haven't even made it to the upper level yet on this playthrough. It's not on the level of some of the textures that have been posted, but before this my only experience with image editting was Mario Paint almost 20 years ago.

Hi there. These aren't working for me for some reason using 4.0.2. In fact, neither are the 360 button textures. The version is correct (Pal), the path is: D:\Users\Tony\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures\SX4P01

I have load custom textures ticked, dump textures off, cache is set to fast, using OGL.

Any ideas?

Don't use openGL, I has the same problem, use Direct3D9.

I have another problem now, when ever I play for 10-15 minutes my client just crashes.

Yep, that sorted it, thanks. The wiki states that stuttering may occur unless you use OGL. Is that a major issue?

Nope, only in certain cut scenes. But then again, it's just cut scenes.

Finished the HD maps of the Bionis leg. They are far from perfect but they are much better than the in-game maps and are actually more accurate in a few places. Water edges were the most frustrating because unless they are pixel perfect, the game will show it, which was a pain getting the tiny islands to look good. The large ramps in the center of the lower level are especially more accurate than the ones on the default map. If people like them then maybe I'll do some more maps.

I have decided to create a simple page on my website dedicated to any maps that I make. This makes it much easier for me to upload any changes to the maps, I won't have to keep updating this post all the time, and has the benefit that they can be viewed and downloaded more easily. Just right click an image and save it. I have down scaled them on the page to fit better (not the actual images), but they should save as the correct resolution. Eventually I'll just release them all in a single zip file when I get enough of them done or get bored of making them.

Some people seem to have trouble using Any Title Converter so this is an alternative. It's a batch script that can convert between USA and Europe names for textures. Copy it to the folder with the textures and fire it up.

Man, you have no idea how annoying it was navigating the Ether Mine - and similar areas - with the low-res textures. I can't wait for more HD maps... Even though I already finished the game, but hey, NG+! =D

I was OCD enough to make save states at each major point in the game and keep them. I have two from the Ether Mine actually; one of them is just before the Xord fight. I'm not sure if you can go back to the rest of the mine once you beat him though. If not, I have another during the cutscene where you meet Otharon fighting off mechon.

@poweredbykimchi Hi. I been following this project back when in 2012 now i saw it continued again. But version is already 4.5 and i don't know what changed since when i finished the game. Will you please add some changelog thing with pictures maybe in first page etc? I need some visual cue about what textures changed to HD.
