There any...info about this? I read somewhere that this improves the performance of the game. Is that true? Hopefully I'm not asking something covered on the first page, because if so I missed it after looking 5 or so times heh. Just want to know what I'm getting into here without going through all 44 pages.

No it does not increase the performance.

Depending on the game it actually reduces the performance depending on how said game handles textures.
Tales of Symphonia for example will lag like crazy with the HD Texture Pack, this is because of the letters in there. If you remove the letters from the pack it runs smoothly. Setting Frame Skipping to 2 fixes it too somewhat.

I've been playing XbC on NTSC version and many of the textures simply don't show up. I know the menu stuff is hard to fix, but I dumped some textures and it seems the NTSC version has completely different (memory address?) names for all of the small portraits and images with fonts unless I am running the pack incorrectly (Ram, Cache checked, set to Fast). Edit: Many icons such as the Quest icon are broken. The HuD portraits of characters Heat status is fine. Art icons also fine, and some text (dialogue text) is fine. I'm manually fixing things when I can, but I'm not that far through the game so I can only really fix a small portion. None of the menu icons show up in game, but that's expected. This is with 4.1U and the v2 stuff and the menu stuff. The small icons for characters in load/save screen and similar are broken (they have different hashes in NTSC version afaik).

Also, has anyone figured out how to get proper memory loading in DX11? I tried the .tga conversion (using IrFranView batch convert) and doesn't work. OpenGL unfortunately doesn't work with my graphics card. At least DX9 version works.

Hi, the HD textures work great, but the button icon replacements aren't working for me. I moved the PS3 icons into the load/textures/SX4P01 folder and followed the settings and trouble shooting tips in the OP. I'm trying this on the latest stable dolphin 4.0.2 x64. Any tips? Thanks!

So, there is an issue with the Landmark texture loading with the OpenGL backend, is there a way to stop it from happening besides changing to DX9? (issue: https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=6845)

Is there a mirror for this DL link? I'm on wireless, and I pretty much have to use downthemall or the download will get interrupted, and it doesn't appear Uploaded supports DL managers.

Having trouble loading these custom textures using the latest versions of Dolphin on OSX - they work fine in 3.5 - but loading in 4.0 makes them appear blocky, ignores alpha channels. If I change the Cache Accuracy from "Fast" to "Accurate" some will be ignored (the original texture appears in its place) but others still suffer from the same defects. Attached screen shots as examples...

So 4.1 is the final version? Damn, I had hopes of a total overhaul, but anything is better than the default.

I want to thank all the people that made this awesome HD texture project possible.

For me this texture pack has work great except for a few minor problems that i discovered so far and those are the text for "Landmark" & "Level Up!" and the other problem that i found is the "Skill Tree" screen that is all weird.

Im using the NTSC version so maybe that is my problem, but if it isn't then i would like to know how to fix it.
