Put the poweredbykimchi's Straploaders to see if the boot image changes. If it does then it's loading the custom textures.

Well, from reading his post, the textures do load, but only so many. That either means the file names that are used for the SX4P01 version aren't used in the SX4E01 version or he's doing something wrong. As far as I can see, I don't think he's doing anything wrong, so it must be a former.

The weird thing is that no one else reported any problems.

All of the straploaders and controllers change when I move them into the folder. It's just some textures won't change.

Man I know this won't be finished for years, but ! I want to wait, kind of.

Also, any chance of like PS3 Icon replacements, for keys?

This will probably never be finished to be honest. I'll be trying to "standardize" everything for the next release (sometime mid or late December) where I'll look for missing texture filenames and also fill in some missing texture elements, but that may be the biggest change for awhile.


Keys as in the keyboard? I doubt it. Most people play with a console controller, so you'll need to find someone who plays with a keyboard and is willing to make some keys. Plus, the keys on a keyboard is so versatile that you can set the keys in a lot of different ways compared to the console.

I suppose someone can just make textures for a good number of the keys and the person who wants them can set it themselves, but that might cause a lot of confusion.

Hmm, does the most recent v4.1 have different damage fonts? I just loaded the retextures in the v4.1 and didn't notice the font being any different...

I think they are supposed to be in layberneth's V2...but those links have since expired...

Does anyone mind uploading them?

Different damage fonts from v2? Yeah. v2 damage fonts weren't similar to the fonts used in the game so I replaced them with some help from others. The damage fonts should be the same but in much higher quality compared to the original.

Oh, I guess some changes are harder to notice than others. I was expecting everything to be as stark in contrast as the portraits =p

Is the v4.1 a compilation of everything? I'm in the beginning of the game and notice that my Menu User Interface and Arts aren't any different...but my portraits are.

What IR are you playing this with?


Hrmm... this is strange. Do you own SX4P01 or SX4E01? And what revision are you using? Are you sure the Arts aren't any different or are you just not noticing the difference because it's not as stark as you thought it to be?

My game ID for the game is SX4P01. Using revision 3.0-793-dirty [xenoblade sound patched].

What do you mean by 'IR'?

I'm comparing the icons to the ones I see on the first page...The sword icons seem to have straight edges and the center button has a thin sword. The blue heart looks a bit different as well...

Unless the v4.1 changed the look of the icons somewhere along the way?
