Always anticipate frozenwings UI updates. You always seem to find useful stuff that most of us would overlook a million times. Tongue

It doesn't look like the original fades out completely either (I blame green on white). The final row will always be somewhat visible. Honestly it lgtm, tossing it into umm.. one of the folders.. suggestions to avoid the miscellaneous?

@narcku: if you're talking about dickson then I would say...

.. that is unless, any of those elements are the same from either.

Edit: Actually, I dunno. The more I look at it, I kinda like both faces. The one looks more evil and shows his age better, but could use a bit more blending in his skin. I think that's the only off putting thing about it to me at least.

Yeah, I meant the faces. The other bandana is not modded Tongue

It made me confused which one to choose too.
One is smoother, the other one is more rough but has better details.
The rough one made me think of Tales of Xillia a bit Tongue

like the face is painted on canvas/something.

Yes, from the trade window. I'm also working on the corners of the black/white bar thing.

I agree with Bighead's first choice.

Also, I've been trying to do the armor textures. I intentionally took one of the hardest ones I saw to see if I could actually make something. This is very, very annoying and slow to make, but here's the first result. It looks horrible, but decent in-game. I still want to "sharpen" it up a bit, since it looks washed out. I'll keep working at it.

Edit: Better version. Still needs work though.

Looks way better than I could do, Echoes. Looks very complex too. I've been having trouble for the past little bit with a stupid box, but mostly because of how the game seems to scale/overlap things.

So, this is the best I can get. Fixed up the corners, changed the shadow a little (although the shadow barely matters on this one>

There is another texture too, but I changed it a bunch and it doesn't seem to do anything at all.

The problem I'm having is the border along the left side (a strip of white/gray that goes along the entire side) that I can't seem to get rid of no matter what. It's really weird. Either way, it doesn't really looks bad and the corners look a hundred times better. The arrow attached is the same as the last one.

Edit: Uploaded a new version like 5 minutes after. So if you snagged this right away, I put up a different one. I forgot to fix something the first time Smile

Edit3: Damn it, lol. I got too impatient. Changed it yet AGAIN. The correct version is 7.40 KB (7578 bytes). Sorry guys. I changed like 3 pixels, so they might be very close the same size.

Maybe the issue is one of those resolution misalignment glitches? Maybe making the texture a bit wider than the original will fix it. Or adding a very very slight drop shadow (it has worked for me in the past). Whatever the case, it's a very minor thing, so it's fine.

Echoes, yeah. It's some weird thing. I got it to look pretty good, you can't notice it unless you zoom in past 100% unless you're smashing your face into your monitor. I just made the side come to the left a couple more pixels. Looks better to me, not pixelated. Going to use it. Bighead, tossing these both into the misc. folder for now.

I also tried messing with a couple more textures, but they looked mediocre and one of them interfered with another, more common texture, so I'm done with it. Wasn't a huge deal anyway.

Echoes: Do you still have the other armor icon you did? I just looked through like 20 pages and couldn't find it. I thought I had it in my downloads folder but I was mistaken.

I love waking up to new stuff. Frozen where are you putting these UI textures you did? Echoes armor icon looks pretty good, I'm tossing it into my folder now to see how it looks in game.

I did a cleanup sweep on my maps, which I haven't uploaded to my site yet but soon. I'm just about finished with the Colony 6 remake, which will only leave me with: bionis interior, prison island (2nd encounter), and the bionis leg remake. That's the last of the areas I think, or am I missing any?
