Best bet is to empty your dump folder and go to the gem man and craft. Then turn around and craft from your mobile thing. It might not even be a gem man / mobile gem man thing, it could be a pre-mobile gem thing and post-mobile gem thing.

Yep those are the only 4 texts that we have 1 of, I'm going to see if I can get the others to dump. Maybe I even already have them in my dumps folder, haven't actually looked through it yet (yet here I am complaining that I'm missing some Tongue). You may already know this, but an easier way than emptying the dumps folder is to just rename it, can even be done while the game is loaded and it will just start dumping to a new SX4P01 folder.

Ah, I just have a "backup dump" folder outside of my SXP401 folder and I just cut/paste everything into there after every session or whenever I try to figure something out like this. I'm actually getting ready to head to bed here otherwise I'd check it all out myself.

This post is just some stuff. Bug hunting, spring cleaning, arranging, whatever. I'll try to separate it all so it's easier on the eyes and mind.

First, there's a dupicate: SX4P01_035ba09b_0
One in UI_Miscellaneous, another in Menu_SkillTree_Misc. I'm keeping the one in the skill tree folder (180x180) because it looks nicer.

Second, the static in environments: SX4P01_4abed95b_2
Is probably more fitting in the "UI_Maps" folder because it is used on the map screen.

Third, the cursor on the Save/Load screen is a Dolphin error with custom textures, the image is slightly offset. I was correct in my earliest assumption.
This does NOT happen when custom textures are disabled. I'm not sure when it got broke, it did work at one point, and here's some comparison shots:

He's using EFB to RAM, but that does not fix it. I'll test Dolphin versions prior to v4.0 later to see if this issue was indeed nonexistent in official versions prior to v4.0. Modifying the cursor is not an option. It is already a few pixels shy of it's maximum boundary, and no amount of editing will make it go that high.

EDIT: Update on this, I'm starting to doubt that it is Dolphin that is responsible for this. I think there is a texture at fault. When you actually compare custom textures enabled to disabled, the position of the save window does not change. Instead, it looks like something else is supposed to "limit" it. I'm not entirely sure yet, but I'm going to investigate this further.

SOLUTION: Delete SX4P01_e5f93bb4_0 ... Don't you dare even ask. Not ONE WORD LOL!!

Fourth, 10 textures in UI_Misc are used on the title screen, so they belong in UI_Title_Load. More junk cleaned out of that folder!

Fifth, despite fixing the Save/Load screen (which we will never discuss...), I made a more "normal" looking cursor to replace that hideous one. You can grab it in attachments, its SX4P01_c10782bc_0 and goes to UI_Title_Load (obviously).

Unless you or Echoes or anyone for that matter preferred the previous, fat, meaty cursor. Then we'll have to like flip a coin or have a poll or w/e. I don't want to be the one who says "this goes" if someone has a difference of opinion.

Sixth, finally fixed the medium corners. They are still not 100% perfect, and never will be, this is as close as they can come. It also required editing the sides and 3 ibuprofen. The top borders are untouched so they are not included in the attachment. The bottom left corner still creates a little bit of garbage, and I can't figure out why. I doubt this will be a problem unless someone is playing with their face firmly pressed against the screen at 4X IR.

Seventh, nay on the gem man dumping those IDs for the gem crafting text. I really wish I knew what conditions caused these "rare" versions of textures to dump, considering the large number of textures that have them. Since I found a lot of them myself, it's gotta be pure luck hitting one.

Okay, everything done besides the medium borders. I'm going to do a quick batch before I play today, I'll get all of the med borders replaced then.

Nice work on the bug fixes / cleaning up. I love anything that cleans crap out of that misc. folder.

Also, when are we going to discuss that save/load cursor? :p

Sometimes when I notice something off, I do actually come close enough to pushing my face against the monitor. Sometimes I don't know if something is messed up or if it's just some remnants of when my son spit chewed up graham crackers all over my screen. (That was a sad day.)

Edit: You mentioned not editing the top border for med borders, so you didn't include it. However, there is also no bottom border in your pack. Accident or did you not change that one either?

I meant to say top and bottom border, but I was really tired at that point so I probably just bundled them both into the words "top borders" and it most likely made sense at the time lol. To be clear as crystal this time, there's 6: 4 corners, 2 sides, didn't touch top or bottom.

And the save/load cursor, did you prefer the old fat one or the new thin one?

Haha, it honestly doesn't matter much to me. As long as it lines up, I'm okay with it. :p

The new one does look a little more elegant though.

I'm about to clear the Mechonis Core so we're about to see how many new IDs are generated. I hope there aren't new ones for every zone in the game and it's limited to just the "repeat" dungeon zones like tephra, bionis' interior, and prison island.

Edit: Team redundant team

Edit again: Almost didn't catch it, but there is a second Mechonis Core map after the events and before you leave. The file pops up during the cutscene, so it got lost in the flood fast. I happened to glance at my minimap before I took off and saw it.

Sweet a map to do before I even get there. Tongue Should take only a few seconds for this, I'll just have to wash away the ring. I'll do it right after I sort these dumps, which is the worst part. I should have done a script that moves it all for us... but I never did because of the issues associated with it, and it takes a lot of time to figure that stuff out cause I'm no expert so I was kinda lazy to even attempt it.
