Thanks and I'm going to enjoy it. Still didn't get around to cooking it... but I am now. I was going through everything making sure I'm keeping it all up to date. I've been wanting to ask Echoes this for ages but I keep forgetting, so....

When you pop back in Echoes, do you mind if I remove the "3.0" from your straploaders? Dolphins a ways past that version, and I think just having "Dolphin" instead of a version number will future proof it. I personally love the one where the party is overlooking the cliff, it's what I use. But every time I see Dolphin "3.0" I think.. hmm....

Yeah, that's my favorite one too! And of course, go ahead. I was thinking about editing it a bit and change it to just "Dolphin", like you suggested. I also wanted to change the banner image at the top to a higher resolution image (same image, just higher res, the current one is kinda... noisy). You can wait until I do it, or edit it yourself, I dunno.

Frozen, have you noticed your gem crafting trick pulling out things like high tension portraits? I've been searching for Heats/Mega Heats (and the sub menus to grab those too) by switching/warping between areas. But I've noticed on this little dumping spree I have a ton of new Sharla/Reyn/Dunban/Shulk portraits for both normal and high tension. Maybe they are preloaded instead of needing to be in combat to find them. If that is the case, then that is really convenient! I know I haven't been in any battles since last time I ran the filter script.

Lol I can also see how this adds up so quick too. I've only been at it for about a half hour (slowly I might add), and pulled out about 1300 textures.

Edit: I also noticed that crafting a gem, and immediately warping to another area has led to some new menu palette textures, that are otherwise textured had I just warped without crafting.

Editx2: I've also noticed all the gem crafting text has the usual "rare versions". I have them all but one, the "Rank Up" glow effect. So keep an eye out for it if it exists (which I'm sure it does). Tongue What's odd is I do have both Rank Up texts, but missing a glow. The one I do have is SX4P01_ad93e9e6_2

A bit of googling for icons later, I pretty much remade it 100%. I couldn't get a bigger Dolphin logo, but I like how it turned out anyway. As for the other versions, I'll get to them later.

Also, It's 1440p. When you think about it, that's just 3X the original size, making this an exception to my usual 4X rule. 1440p has never felt so low res!

Edit: Strange, even though the file I uploaded is 3.10mb, the downloaded file ends up being 4.38 mb. Can anyone else confirm this?

High tension portraits are used for "party support" during gem crafting. That's why I have bajillion of them now :p I used a cheat at the beginning of the game to get max affection between all my characters (same with skill trees) so they're always assisting, which is why I only use Melia and Riki to do the gem trick. They each only have one high tension portrait, so when they assist in crafting they don't get new portraits. So by using them, you force the other characters to assist and unlock their tension portraits. I came in this time knowing that I'll need the max affection and skill trees to get all of the IDs. It's cheating my ass off, but I've already beat the game three times and I wanted to get the most of the dumps.

Anyway, that's what I mean about the gem trick, it unlocks a different "tier" of IDs for an area. I figure there are about 3 or 4 tiers per "set of IDs" in an area. And probably around 6-10 sets, depending on the area. I believe each time you perform a load action, it pulls up a new tier of the set. This can be gem crafting, loading the affinity screen, quick traveling, etc. What forces the sets themselves to reload are loading into a totally different zone, loading a save, a story event, and just randomly running around and pulling up the menu you can snag a new set. So yeah, it's kind of hard to explain, but I have a pretty good understand now of how everything dumps. The trick is getting lucky enough to trigger all of the sets. You can force the different tiers of the sets until you get all of the IDs, but the sets themselves you can't control so you just have to hope you get them all.

And some areas share some parts of the sets, so you'll see repeats from time to time. Like sometimes you'll get sub menu portraits where you'll have shulk and reyn portraits textured but no one else, etc.

Edit: The cheat unlocks all skill trees, I didn't start with them all completed. Since if you're dumping the game with only 3 (or 4) skill tree branches, you're missing out on IDs. That's why you'll run into instances where the center-left or center-right skill tree bars aren't textures. I didn't have all of the skill trees unlocked the first playthrough where I was dumping.

Edit again: I think the "rare" versions or whatever you think they are aren't really rare but are used in a separate instance. For example, the gem man stall and your mobile gem crafting thing each probably have their own set of static IDs.

@Echoes: Confirmed, 4.4MB download for me. Forgot to add, looks amazing!

@frozenwings: Ahh that makes sense of how I acquired so many of them then. And yeah I noticed that sometimes with small portraits when gifting or crafting or viewing the skill tree, everyone but like shulk or reyn will be textured.

I have a few more gem crafting concerns and I'm not sure how to clear this up, but there are a few text textures that have me confused.

Gentle Flame: (Text does not match other 4 gentle flames.)
SX4P01_6dffe5e3_0
SX4P01_c4560ea1_0
The other 4 are: SX4P01_13121e46_2 - SX4P01_ff8f5d0f_2 - SX4P01_210132b0_0 - SX4P01_b0aac015_0

So there is my example for the next ones. There is also a medium flame (SX4P01_d5447e7d_0) and 2 strong flames (SX4P01_98c86fb9_0, SX4P01_8280bcbe_0). These text textures don't match the others. And them even being in here breaks the (sets of 2, one common, one rare) rule.

Did you see my edit? I think the gem man crafting and the mobile gem crafting thing might use different IDs for the text. Maybe not, though. I'll have to look into those files and see what you mean.

Edit: And I guess I don't get whey you're so concerned about the different fonts. They're all just used in different spots.

I compiled a problems list (attachment). Since you gem craft a lot, maybe you came across the rare IDs I'm missing.
Also gonna test out the gem man soon.
