Unzip GSWE64.zip and put the folder titled "GSWE64" into the following: My Documents -> Dolphin Emulator -> Load -> Textures

Once it's in the Textures folder, go to Dolphin and enable "Load Custom Textures". Enjoy! Big Grin

cheers man.

You may want to re-download. I just posted a new update above this post ^
yup, saw it Smile

are you planning to do anything with rs3?

Sure! But I am going to wait for speed optimizations (if the developers are working on it, I know they have sped it up by 60%). Otherwise, I might start quite soon on some simple stuff.

Why 4x AA? I think that's a waste of system resources. If at all, have no AA and tick Per-Pixel lighting. But if your system is powerful, keep the 4x AA. Smile

Gah! Problem is, I am a perfectionist. Dodgy

Idk, I just did 4xAA, but ill give the PPL a try. Also, some feedback for the ison corridor, which applies to all the other cool stuff you have made. Love the overhaul, but any chance you could do a simple uprez of the original? With nothing added. I want to do a play through of the game in its original form, in HD.

Well, you're talking 15,000+ textures overall Tongue Plus up-scaling textures don't really make it HD (try upscaling a 256x256 to a 1024x1024, it will just look washed out). If I somehow had the original source material Factor 5 were using, then obviously I could output them to the resolutions I am outputting for that nebulae.

Edit: Just so you know, a lot of textures are actually in 1024x1024 format, which is quite rare, especially for a GameCube game! All I am doing is fine-tuning content around the same resolution (that Death Star on Endor is 1024x1024, the original I think was around 512x512 or 256x256). But the spaceship textures and human textures are all very high-res at it is. So, in my opinion, the fact that you have 'Scaled EFB Copy' ticked, means you are outputting HD, especially having a 4x IR.

I didnt mean everything, I just meant those that you have done so far, the obvious ones, like planets.

EDIT: Tried with PPL and 2X AA and didnt see much of a difference.

Yeah, hence I usually leave PPL off, as it is a resource hog. However, a definite noticeable difference is the trench run, where a lot of laser fire causes a lot of lighting to take place. You will notice that with PPL, it is a 'cleaner' look. By the way, I am able to notice these things due to having a 4k monitor.

Edit: as far as up-scaling the original content, well, I have up-scaled this texture. It just doesn't look good.
