What's new
- Revisited the Razor Rendezvous level again and totally overhauled the planet Kothlis. The prior texture was 512x512, but since Factor 5 seems to upscale it in the level, the texture becomes pixelated. So, what I did was re-draw a whole new planet at the scale of 2024x2024, the biggest texture in this game so far. The _mip extensions are included.
- Nothing else has changed. In fact, the two moons (one ice, the other molten) fit nicely with this new texture.

I wish it were possible to 'orbit' the moons and have atmospheric effects on all the planets! Tongue

Unzip GSWE64.zip and put the folder titled "GSWE64" into the following: My Documents -> Dolphin Emulator -> Load -> Textures

Once it's in the Textures folder, go to Dolphin and enable "Load Custom Textures". Enjoy! Big Grin

What's new
- Okay guys, this is a beauty! I spent quite sometime today really making this feel brand new. I am a huge fan of astronomy (in fact, I have a heavy knowledge of all things astrophysics), and I wanted to make the Ison Corridor Ambush level to be something spectacular, purely because the level is associated with what's known as 'nebulae'. Basically, a 'nebulae' are the remnants of an ancient exploded gas giant (sun). A nebulae (or also known as an interstellar medium) looks like clouds in space, but are actually ionized lighter elements (like hydrogen), radiation, etc., and over millions of years (or depending on certain half-lifes like cobalt-56 to iron-56, that can last ~77 days), due to the intense heat of the star exploding, will form heavier elements that we see in the periodic table (stable and radioactive), thus creating the elements necessary for possible life. You, me, and everything on Earth is technically star 'dust', from a once ancient nebulae 4.5662 billion years ago. Amazing isn't it! Big Grin

- So, with that being said, this isn't entirely complete. There is a problem where the Rebels jump out of light-speed literally from the planet. I will try and re-position the texture so that it looks like they are coming out of the nebulae. Problem is, when I reposition the planet, it is so huge (even if I make it small), there seems to be a cut-off point near the bottom. In fact, test it out and see that ~1% of the bottom of the planet is overlapped by the star-field. This texture also beats out the Razor Rendezvous Kothlis texture. This comes in at a whopping 4096x4096. Any lower will make it pixelated, especially on 4k screens. However, the game runs really smooth, as this level really hasn't got much going on in it. So it should be fine for most computers! Cool

- I will continue to work on the rest of the nebulae towards the front of the level, especially in making it look pretty, rather than dull and bland. Check out the original backdrop for comparison with my work.

- I have also updated the training level (night), where I implemented Echoes star field with some new moons.

yup, saw it Smile

are you planning to do anything with rs3?

tested out and looks great, you can hardly notice the star field overlap in game, just looks like the dark part of the planet is covered by a shadow.
