To be honest the only game I have tried is Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. During the display of the Nintendo/Dolby logos I get 60 fps, but at the title screen it drops to about 15-17 fps. Then at the file select screen it hops back up to 50-57 fps. Finally, in-game I get a measly 7-10 fps. I have attached a System Information Report taken from Advanced System Cares System Information utility. Hope it helps. If you need a screen of my settings within Dolphin let me know I will attach one a.s.a.p. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide .

Try to find some optimized build that your computer allows (check if your system is x64 and if your CPU supports a certain SSE), and if it's still slow, OC your CPU/upgrade your computer. 03-23-2011, 08:19 AM
I copied, and pasted it for you, since you are having trouble accessing the download.

Check in http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=4
For a pictorial go to... General Config: http://www.dolphin-emu.org/configuration...ation.html Performance: http://www.dolphin-emu.org/performance.html The best thing to do is to experiment with it, as a new user, it took me like a week to properly set up the emulator specifically to correspond to the computer most efficiently sometimes new reversions come out and they may be slower or faster, for zelda games I just follow the guide exactly, the only thing I change is like texture and other GFX configs. If you're using the GC version get an older reversion (I prefer r7282), and also if you run into too many walls I'll suggest upgrading your CPU like Schwimmer has said.

Your pentium 4 is far too slow to emulate any game at playable speed. Buy a new computer or use a real wii.

Dang I really don't have the money to invest in a new computer...
Thanks for the help everyone I appreciate it. And NaturalViolence, I indeed own the game disc, its just It looks far better on my computer screen then on my t.v screen since I would be able to play it at a better resolution. 03-23-2011, 09:16 AM

Your processor is a little slower than mine, anyway newegg.com always has some good deals in the right places, you don't necessarily need to buy new everything, just get a better CPU processor and other parts you need unless you're absolutely dry, then that's like my situation lol

And since old pentium 4 systems used a fraction of the power that todays desktops use he will probably need a new power supply as well.

I think I got the best processor my motherboard can handle so I probably need a new motherboard as well. And If thats the case (no pun intended) I may need a new case lol. Unless of course it doesn't matter what case I have. It would probably be cheaper to just buy a brand new computer with that shiny new windows 7 lol.(03-23-2011, 09:08 AM)jjoxford2007 Wrote: Dang I really don't have the money to invest in a new computer... 03-23-2011, 03:37 PM
