having trouble importing a wind waker gci save file

I was playing wind waker, and the game black screened once I got to a certain point, and although I tried all the fixes (item hang patch, LLE audio, disable audio) none of them worked, so I got a gci save file to get past the boss. I imported it and deleted my old save file, and now nothing shows up in the main menu, there are no games to load. So now all I have is a save state before the boss battle and a useless save file. Help please, and I apologize for my ignorance in advance.

Are you using the latest dev build?

you probably imported a save for the wrong region...
you can save from your savestate to memcard, look for a post from me describing it
