So i posted this topic before, but then i noticed i accidentally put it in the wrong section. Sorry about that. ;^^

I thought i put it here, but i guess i misclicked on general.

It's been taken care of now, i've deleted the topic from the general.

So, i got this new laptop a few days ago. 2 GHz processing, 8 gb RAM, apparently a good graphics card according to my friend (GeForce GTX 460M). So i decided i wanted to see if i could play gamecube games on my laptop, as it would make long car rides a lot less boring. So i got dolphin and a smash bros melee iso, and it ran perfectly .... for one day. Now it's running slowly for no reason (about 30% speed). I tried a few thigns to get it back up. I tried reinstalling it, i tried reseting the computer, and nothing. It just runs at 30-50% no matter what now. I tried using the performance guide here and it didn't work either.

*Edit: I suppose i should mention that i think i'm using dolphin r7599 on windows 7*end edit*

So i don't suppose anyone here would know what's wrong? I don't have a single idea why it would work one day but not another.

-Sorry for wasting your time if this topic is really stupid ...

I did, actually. Before the problems, I tried Megaman Battle Network Transmission which was the first game to have given me the lag problems. The opening cutscene looked like it was going about one frame per second. Then the gameplay was only going half speed. So then I tried Pokemon Channel, which was also running slowly. Then i went back to melee to find out that i was having problems with that game's running speed, too.
