When using any version of NJoy, the program refuses to accept input from the Y axis of the right stick of my classic xbox controller (made possible by a usb split in the detachable joint of the cable, + XBCD drivers). I have tested the controller using its drivers and even the game controllers program in the control panel and the entire controller is running fine. why is it NJoy cannot accept input?

Would greatly appreciate help in this matter. Undecided

PS. Started to get super excited when i heard wind waker had sound, and then i encountered the black screen issue. I fixed that, then encountered this issue, and all of that is on top of waiting for the sound to be fixed in the first place! I really would love for me to get past this final hookup.

PPS. Get started of Pikmen sound next! Wink

EDIT: using rev 3661, thought it might clear up some questions

You have to own your real gamecube according to the forum rules.

Where in the forums does it say "you must have a gamecube to use dolphin"

the only thing you need to legaly own are the games, and you have to rip them yourself, as for your question i dont know

This is a call out to anyone with this issue and is to lazy to post on the forums for it, and had the same issues I had.

After much searching, i found something very useful, and enables the controller to work.

"Yes, renaming SDL.dll to SDL_old.dll and SDL.1.3.dll to just plain SDL.dll
does temporarily fix the problem. With that being said however, you will need to
reconfigure all njoy controllers or keyboards. Whatever you are using for input. Like
as said above if you do not, the axis's will be reversed and other buttons will be
screwed up. Easiest way is just to redo all the settings."

If you do this, NJoy will have no issue mapping your sticks.

Happy gaming!

PS: If you have other issues, look at the "issue" area, http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/list there's a search bar, so use it!
