I cant get the menu to appear that has save states and touch control config. Is there an ini property I can adjust to force this menu to unhide itself??

update:
For anyone with this issue whom has

Full android rom flashed to their shield tv
download dev build 5.0 5606
install
scan for game add to library
start game
Immediatly click 3 dot menu in upper right hand corner
Adjust onscreen controls
then install newest build overtop of 5606

this way you retain what you adjusted in the new build.

5606 is the build before hackbar *fixed* the gui
i read the github commit hackbar the button mapping issues. My buttons are still reversed so i dunno what happen

Nvidia shield tv. With full android rom. I tried a rotation locker app to put dolphin in portrait no dice. Ive swiped with hardwar mouse no dice. I have swiped with controller emulated mouce no dice. I have mapped touch to hardware controller no dice. I have tried editing ini file, and Aspect ratio no dice. I tried running apps made for only portait mode and switching between active apps back to dolphin no dice. there is one more thing i will try but i know it will not work.

I just want the option to unhide that menu so i can move the onscreen overlay. Fustrated

Nobody has answere? My last try was Hal launcher and launch dolphin in tv mode. It didnt work. I added a ini line android screencontrols = true. I found earlier builds with gui much easier. This is on purpose maybe the devs dont want shield owners to play their wii backups, I dont know! I tried liberto dolphin core in retroarch it just crashes loading wii games. Theres no support for that at liberto forum. *RIPS HAIR OUT BASEBALL BATS TV* LOL

No, nobody has responded because nobody knows why you're having issues. It's very well known that while the core of Dolphin trips over a lot of driver bugs and thermal issues we can't do anything about, the Android UI code is a buggy mess just because we've partially refactored it several times with little review or testing. Eventually just going for months at a time with no real fixes.

That would be because AFAIK, the Dolphin port to libretro is basically abandoned.

Check back in a day or two. Maybe somebody will have suggestions. You didn't even wait a day before bumping.

There is currently a Bounty out for people to start working on the libretro core for Retroarch, back it if it is important to you.
Check my profile for up to date specs.

I didnt know there are rules to bumping my thread. What does it matter anyway (not being snarky). Your right I didnt wait because I have been fustrated and impatient with it.

On other note the games I tried fire up and run good. This is a good emulator. Just wishing it worked with my setup  Sad
