Been reading here for a while and every time someone brings it up they say you need 4.4 ghz of processing power to get it to run right.

I just tried it and was playing it fine with 3.4 ghz. I had 107-109% speed and 59-65 FPS the entire time.

It works completely without stutter too ever since the vbeam trick.

The only thing that doesn't work quite right is the wiimote sounds but that's easy to fix.

SMG 1 does not hang after great stars in HLE anymore (at least not on my PC), but there are still some very solw levels which are almost unplayable.

I was using the LLE Recompiler and yes I am using Defender's ICC build 64 bit.

To be fair in response to etking, I have not yet played every single level in Dolphin but if you would be so kind to tell me some of the earlier levels that go very slow, I would be happy to test them.

One of the earlier stages (3rd star) is the boss stage with Bouldergeist. It is a fair bit slower if I remember correctly

I used 3.0-424 standard build to collect the first 20 stars before I found out that ICC builds are reasonably faster. In the main hub at the platform where the screen zooms out to see the complete level on screen, there is a huge difference in frame rate between ICC and non ICC builds. And some water levels are very slow too.

Deepest apologies guys. Seems that it still needs work.

I do completely fine in the first galaxy. However, once I hit the Honey galaxy, there is choppiness in the audio. If the other levels slow down much worse as people say, then I can't imagine they will work well.

The Honey galaxy works alright with HLE instead of DLE but HLE is way messed up. Certain sounds are much louder than others for no apparent reason. The inconsistency in sound make it unenjoyable to play though still possible to play.

Dammit. I really don't want to OC my CPU lol.

Processing power is not measured in hertz.

The developers don't optimize games they optimize dolphin.
