Current setup:
i7 4790K @ stock
ASUS Z97-A motherboard
ASUS Nvidia GTX 1060 Strix OC 6GB
Corsair XMS3 DDR3 16GB
Fractal Design Newton R3 1000W
Noctua NH-D15S
2 mechanical hard drives (1TB and 2TB)
Fractal Design Define R6 Black
Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016
New parts bought:
G.Skill 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Ripjaws V
Intel Core i7 7700K 4.2 GHz 8MB
ASUS STRIX B250H GAMING
Absolutely no one have been positive to this and I'm starting to regret this purchase.
I'm thinking I have made a terrible choice here, only problem 8700K and 8086K isn't compatible with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016 that's why I bought the 7700K to begin with.

But everywhere I read 4790K vs 7700K and 7700K vs 8700K no one recommends the 7700K and it's a really hot chip even with the Noctua NH-D15S idle and stock clock.
Total money spent 640$
I feel like an idiot really, what should I do?
