Major it would work just fine for Dolphin as I have no issues using my DInput based Logitech Dual Action as a gamecube controller in Dolphin.

Just wanted to add that if anyone wants Xinput joystick support on Windows, I've found that Touchmote does an awesome job. No need to mess around with x360ce (which I know from experience can cause headaches). And its pointer functionality (touted as the main feature but I regard it as secondary) seems to work very well too.
Hi, is this compatible with a regular Nintendo wii remote with the plus add on besides the TR wii remote plus? And will it work without any problems with skyward sword or a TR wii remote with the plus functionality build in is mandatory?
It works with both the standard Wii Remote with or without the Wii MotionPlus addon, and it works with Wii Remote Pluses -TR or not. And while I'm at it, the DolphinBar supports Nunchuks and Classic Controllers as well.
The only issue is that the DolphinBar requires a firmware update to add support for -TR wiimotes, but regular wiimotes do not require the update. AMD Threadripper Pro 5975WX PBO+200 | Asrock WRX80 Creator | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 FE | 64GB DDR4-3600 Octo-Channel | Windows 11 23H1 | (details)

So I'm considering getting the Dolphin Bar but I need to know how much power this thing needs supplied from the USB. I will have to run a 35 foot active repeater usb extension cord to connect it to my pc. I'm guessing this should work if I have it connected to a powered USB hub, but would like to know if the item says anything specific about the power needed or if anyone has experience running this with a lenghy extension. Thanks!
I'll be honest: I have no idea! But come on, it's some IR lights and a bluetooth adapter. How much power could that seriously draw?

Uhhhhh... source?
Electricity doesn't work this way. FYI, USB does not work if your signals have more than 26ns latency. 09-03-2014, 08:31 AM
Monoprice has active usb extenders up to 82 feet that are supposed to work with Kinect and ps3 eye. I know the Kinect has it's own power supply but I think the eye is powered by the usb. Anyways, I think I will test it out.

I bought one of these after seeing the review here. It worked great... for a day and a half. It doesn't come with any adhesive stickers or anything like the regular sensor bar and it's nearly impossible to stand on top of a thin monitor without anything holding it in place. So, it fell a whole foot and a half off of the back of my monitor and now it's broken... It will turn on for a few seconds and then it turns off. I can unplug it and plug it back in, sometimes it will stay on, but mostly it just turns off. That being said, I would recommend this, it works great with Dolphin and it's easy to use (literally, plug it in, switch it to mode 4 to use with Dolphin, sync your Wiimote, and press the Refresh button on the Wii controller setting in Dolphin). If you do get one, be careful, they may be fragile or I may just be unlucky, it's hard to tell from a sample group of one person. I am contacting mayflash to see if there is any way I can do any kind of troubleshooting before I attempt to return it for a new one.
