Somehow AMD cool n quite (similar to Intel Speedstep) does not work here . That option is enabled by default ...
5.0GHz all the time , no throttle at all . Seriously , my electric bill...

If CPU-Z fails, try HWMonitor (from the same website). It's the most accurate tool / app for AMD CPUs.

NOTE: AMD Cool'n'Quiet fails to work properly once a CPU reaches a certain frequency.
For example, all AMD Phenom II CPUs (including the original stepping that ran really hot) could overclock beyond 3.8 GHz (Prime95-stable for 48 hours).
But Cool'n'Quiet became half-functional (the lowest 800MHz step failed to work) at 3.6~3.7 GHz and non-functional at 3.8 GHz.

For a truly stable overclock, you must have every feature working properly (including power saving).
Being prime-stable is not enough.

Nice. How stable is it. E.g what have you run (and for how long) to determine this?

No it doesn't. Sometimes it's simply interfering with your OC and will need to be disabled.
But yes you do need to actually do stuff (play games, regular usage, etc) for a while other than running Prime.

I know I don't have any patience

5~8 hours of Prime95 (blend mode) is enough (as a quick CPU O.C. stability / stress test).

Or just leave Prime overnight, no need to have any patience when you're sleeping.

I somehow fixed that by enabling C6 State (Default settings = C6 state off) . Now the CPU is running at 4.0GHz when it's in idle mode
Shame for AMD , my haswell CPU always run at 700MHz (idle)
Btw , Corsair Vengeance is the best RAM I ever have . Default speed = 1333MHz , maximum OC speed = 2133MHz
I Oced it to 1866MHz with just 1.34V which is crazy man (Default voltage = 1.5V)

Seems like Skylake-S isn't much faster than Haswell...

I would like to point out that:
1. This is still unofficial
2. This is 3 applications that are being benchmarked, all of which are synthetic. Please recall that haswell was only 7% faster in synthetic tests than ivy bridge yet 30% faster in dolphin.
3. Since there are no other details about the cpu we may be missing the bigger picture.

This very well might be true but as I keep saying lets not jump to conclusions until the product is released.

The big improvements of Haswell are more-or-less limited to emulators, though, and most general-purpose stuff correlates much more closely with the early benchmarks than Dolphin's one. It's fairly reasonable to expect the things that normally correlate to Cinebench well to correlate with this too.
