Can you test the GPU in another computer to see if it just has an incompatibility with your system?
Also, if it is a higher powered GPU, did you make sure that the power cables are properly connected to it?

Ended up returning the motherboard I had and got an ASUS Z170-E. No crashes, no issues, nothing. I'm pretty happy right now; this was a major upgrade in performance.  Big Grin

That reminds me about a problem I have with my mobo MSI Z87-G85. It has 3 PCIe x16 slots. My GTX 770 was plugged into the first one at the beginning. But then it died because of the NVidia killer driver (http://modcrash.com/nvidia-display-driver-damaging-gpus/#.UbS1ePnvtQs). Fortunately I used the warranty so I was able get a new 770 for free.

But since then, if I plug my new 770 into the first PCIe slot, it doesn't work. UEFI can recognize the card, but Windows don't, and NVidia drivers refuses to install. I even reinstalled Windows to be sure. I can get around this problem by plugging my 770 into the 2nd or 3rd PCIe slot. I wonder if NVidia killer drivers also kinda destroyed my PCIe slot. That's not a big issue but because of my GPU's position, I can't plug correctly my bluetooth card (the USB internal cable is touching my GPU radiator).
From France with love.

The first review about the new unlocked i3 7350k
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ch3bFj0NDZQ
For those don't want to watch the video , here is what I got so far :
_4.0GHz base clock with turbo boost up to 4.2GHz with 91W TDP
_It can go up to 5.0GHz but it will become unstable . The stable clock he got is 4.8GHz
_TDP skyrockets to 147W when overclocking , this is also equal to an OCed i7 6700k . OMG , it's burning my house ! (Insert facepalm gif here)
_Even at 4.8GHz , it still can't beat the i5 stock clock in multi-threaded benchmark while the i5 is only a few dollars more....
-> Get the i5 instead
G3258 is such a good CPU , how could they mess up this time ! The price tag for this thing is too high for a mere dual core

Why is anybody surprised that the overclockable i3 isn't that great compared to an i5?

The i3's place is supposed to be "Cheap chip you can throw in a desktop and get a reasonable system", not "Cheap chip to overclock for added value". That's the i5's bread and butter. Giving the i3 an unlocked multiplier just... Doesn't make any sense when the i5 already does that better with more physical cores? There's no real place for an overclockable i3 when the price difference between the two is fairly small, unlike the i5/7.

In the end , Kabylake is just another "Devil Canyon" . i5 7600k , i7 7700k overclocking abilility is slightly better than Skylake as I saw in most benchmarks
I hope Ryzen can change Intel , because Intel is so corrupted right now . If this keeps up , I won't bother upgrading CPU anytime soon , there is no benefit for doing that
Btw , here is the new Vega 4k Doom - Vulkan Benchmark if anyone interest :

AMD Vega 72FPS vs Nvidia Pascal 1080 63FPS
http://www.pcgamer.com/doom-benchmarks-return-vulkan-vs-opengl/2/
AMD uses a newer driver . So it could be better ...But I think AMD is the winner in this case . Let's hope they keep the reasonable power consumption

Can't blame Intel, any market is built on competition, they have no rivals right now, let's hope Ryzen changes things but somehow doubt a bit.

How are they "corrupt"?

Haven't you been paying attention!?!?!?! Intel has no competition!!!!That makes them corrupt!!!! /s

Seriously speaking, we're lucky Intel CPU prices haven't skyrocketed. Tongue

They're corrupt to anybody still clinging to Moore's law.

But you know, TDPs dropping like a rock doesn't matter to people who only stare at benchmarks. That's been Intel's focus for the past few years, which is pretty clear with how Kaby Lake is looking to kill off non ULV CPUs for mobile, although the lower end desktop chips have low enough TDPs to be cooled for gaming laptops
