Debating on building a new computer before the end of summer or waiting for kaby lake.
If I were to buy it right now this is what it would look like: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/PtRkTH (ignore the wireless, I don't even have any internet anyway and if I did I would do everything I could to get wired)
Any thoughts? My main question is about the mobo, I don't really plan on OC'ing, so would a Z be a waste? (does it have more PCI-E lanes for example and should I care?)
If you know of any better parts/prices let me know.

This guy. It has 4 HDMI ports and an A/V in port for the Wii. It has good reviews, and is pretty cheap for that screen size at 4k

You should buy Xeon E3 1230v5 + Asrock fatal1ty e3v5 instead . This Xeon is i7 6700 without iGPU and it's $50 cheaper , its mobo is also cheaper than that Asus Z170

I didn't really plan on getting an i7, I was going to get an i5 6600.

Xeon 1230V5 + Asrock fatal1ty e3v5 cost a little more than i5 6600 + Asus Z170 , $30 to be exact but that CPU is much faster and you can OC it if you happen to change your mind

Well I wouldn't get the z170. Can you OC the xeon CPUs?

Yes you can OC Xeon . This has nothing to do with non-k OC , Intel can't lock this feature

You remember how when HD TVs were a thing, some were branded Full HD and were 1080p, and others were branded HD ready and were 720p? UHD (2160x3840) is four times Full HD, QHD (1440x2560) is four times HD ready, and 4K (2160x4096) is two times as wide as 2K.

Hmm, I might look into that. Maybe go for the E3-1220 v5 instead.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about 720p being the original HD.

Also I've seen 4k and UHD being used very interchangeably.
