The good thing about clevo is that you can access pretty much all components once you remove the backplate . Yes , it's an easy job but I can't say the same for that Asus . It seems like it's quite hard to do so
My iiyama (clevo) laptop has only 1 fan for both GPU and CPU unlike most gaming laptop from clevo . It obviously will overheat if I don't use aftermarket TIM : IC diamond 7
The CPU is overclocked at 3.4GHz atm , max temp 90C with prime95 . In gaming , 82C is the max temp I can get
If you don't want to return your Asus , you will need to repaste the TIM (if possible)
