Hello guys, I'm a new guy here. I connected my WiiMote to my computer and even the plugin seems to recognize the controller (It vibrates when you open the settings, I think). However when I enter the main screen in SMG in the planet menu it tells me to point the Wiimote towards the screen which I am doing.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Edit: It seems like my brand new wireless sensorbar is not working, both side LEDs are not lit up. I'll have to try the candle trick to rule out any other errors.
Still no response even though I am using the candle trick. Sorry if this has been asked before but, is there any guide as to how to use the Wiicontroller plugin for dolphin and a site to download different versions of such plug-in?

Edit2: I'm on Windows7 build 7200 or so, if it matters.

It's detecting the controler in the game, as in if I pess "Home" it will respond accordingly and if I press A+B it will take me to the planet selection screen as well.

Using Dolphin SVN Build 3972 and 4099

Edit3: SVN R3972 seems to be locking up when trying to enter the WiiRemote plugin.

Added a pic of my plugin:

first, put the candles closer together, maybe 8 inches apart from each other.

I've had problems with it myself, I'm not sure if it's the bluetooth adapter or what, but what seems to work for me is... disconnect the wiimote from the list of bluetooth devices, then re-add it, then quickly START a fresh dolphin (not an already open one) and click the wiimote icon on the top, so that you enter the config. the wiimote should vibrate and it should light up the "first player" light. then just close that and start the game and try again. Also make sure you're not using save states, they don't work for wii games... or at least the wii games i've played... The wiimote always shows as disconnected...

Wow man thanks so much, that did the trick, it was the distance between the candles.

Two more questions though:

1.- How can I save?

2.- How can I change the wiimote settings so I can stand closer to the screen. Tongue

Again thanks a bunch!
Edit: James, that's awesome, I love this screen.

Maybe I can answer the #2

Try changing the distance in the candles just a little

#1.... Save..... State? you can't... saving state with wii games currently results in wiimote disconnection... it's just not working as of this post...

As for #2, I'm not exactly sure what you're asking... if anything I would say put the candles closer to the screen and closer together... but they would prob be too close to the screen and burn it haha... so I don't think that's a good idea...

But, chances are the wide candle stance wasn't the problem... it was probably the sequence of syncing up. try to space them out a bit, and play around with it... it won't hurt it.

No worries, I'll just play further from the screen and problem fixed. As to the saves, the emu seems to be saving them just as the Wii would so it's all good. If anything I would just like to know where they are saved in case I switch Dolphin versions. (Also on mario galaxy the cut-scenes seem to be slowing down a lot, ill search within the forum to see if there are any solutions to that)

As a side note, this emu is amazing and the developers should be proud of it. It's the first emulator I try that beats it's current console, it looks fantastic and a lot of the popular games run 90-100% well. Seriously mad props for the devs of this emu. Plus it scales so well with the CPUs it's insane, can't wait to try this on an i7 as it already runs pretty well on my current CPU (X2 3800+).

Edit: Uknownforce, nice rig. :p
