Hi guys,

I have installed, without any problem, Dolphin Emulator on my new H96 Max Plus, Android 8.1 TV Box (Details)

but when I try to load any rom, I always get this error message: "failed to initialize video backend".

Any chance to make it work? Anybody tried?

Thanks everybody for the good work!  Blush

Probably won't run due to the low performance of the Rockchip RK3229/Mali 450. TBH, the Nvidia Shield is the only ATV device that can 'run' dolphin.

Mali 450 don't support OpenGL ES 3.0, required to run Dolphin. it's a 6 years old GPU. Even if your GPU had OpenGL ES 3.0, the CPU (based on Cortex-A53 at 1.5GHz) wouldn't have enough power to run most games.
PC: Intel Core i5 3470 3.2GHz / NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / 8GB DDR3 1600MHz / Windows 10 Pro 64 bits

Phone: Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro

Thank you very much for the reply.

I see in the specifics that the CPU is the RK3328 2.4 ghz (https://www.amazon.it/H96-Max-Android-RK3328-Bluetooth/dp/B07HD73ZLR).

and it is Cortex-A53 as I see here: http://opensource.rock-chips.com/wiki_RK3328

but still not enough I guess.
