Hi

I played this at the arcade over the weekend and forgot how good a game it way (i played a lot when it 1st came out)

And I was so happy to find out it is out on the wii and a mere 8 quid from amazon.

If i was to pick it up, does anyone know how well it is emulated (i searched but found no hits on the forum)

(i barely switch on the wii now most of my stuff is run off pc)

Why not just buy it and tell us how well it emulates, it would be much appreciated since its only 8 quid

Hi

Well i now have gun blade!. I have only tried it VERY briefly (minor issue of my repaired fanatec steering wheel pedals arriving so all my gaming going on racing games!)

I literally downloaded dolphin 3.0, I have not touched any settings, but bottom line both games work (I was concerned that only one game would work without mucking around - like metroid trilogy).

gunblade looks soooo dated

its sequel looks much better but on default settings the "damage" warning sticks on the screen. It is still fully playable however and with a bit of fiddling it may well work 100%. I only played on mouse however as the wii motes were all downstairs and I knew i only had 15 mins.

since getting into wii emulation on my PC I have actually found a use for the DVD drive in my media PC!, honestly I do not think I had used it more than 3 or 4 times since buying it probably 4 years ago, but luckily it rips wii games !.

Its funny. I am sure both games are arcade perfect but somehow its just not the same as by the seaside in an arcade piling in quid coins!.

I now need to figure out how to copy all my settings and saves over from dolphin 2, as 3 has a different structure than 2 it seems, but that is for another thread

Good, you can now open a new thread in the games discussion section of the forum and explain as much as you would like on the game like how its emulated, what settings best fits it, current speed and whatever you might like to add, and if somebody sees the thread they also buy the game and discuss their experiences and you have yourself an official game thread
