So with this patch, you're able to play Guitar Hero 5. Game is not full speed anyways and it has flickering graphics and other bad stuff, but none the less, it's playable. Note: I'm not the author of this patch, person who created it preferred to remain anonymous, so all thanks to him ^^

Warning: works for NTSC only

Patch:

Code:
+$Get ingame
0x801822D0:dword:0x60000000

Also added in latest INI database revision.

I'm trying to get GH5 working in dolphin SVN R4651, the patch is apparently already set up by default, but the game still doesn't work. I get the error that /dev/usb/hid is an unknown device, Followed by device lost, followed by several framebuffer errors until the emulator crashes. Is there anything I need to do to get it going in game?

there's no problem getting ingame (dunno if that patch is kinda worked into Dolphin or if it just ain't needed anymore)...the same applies to GH:Smash Hits and GH:Metallica, btw Smile
Anyway, there's still this headache-giving flickering...nothing one can do about that?

Use Real XFB (OpenGL only)

Due to massive screen blink rate, IMO it's not playable... But it does boot up and function properly, so the problem seems to be just related to video/visual rendering instead of an actual emulation problem.
