Hi Guys,

Have Guitar Hero 5, playing in Direct3D. Sound and graphics seem fine and all good so far. As daft as this sounds I want to play it or at least prove that I can't play it!

When I select QuickPlay, it places me into slot 1 MIC as wants me to put in a logitech mic, which I dont have.

How do I swap across to slot 2 or 3 to just play the guitar without a mic?

Also I have a wii guitar coming, has anyone connected it up and have it working?

Cheers Chris

You can play Guitar Hero 1, Guitar Hero 2, and Guitar Hero 3 with a standard controller.

You can also play Guitar Hero:Aerosmith with a controller too.

Read before you post princegell.
smokeycoles has controller plugin problem
which does not let him go to the main menu
i also have this problem before in rockband 2
the way i fixed this problem. i go to and switch
to Dolphin Wiimote plugin New and and also switch
the extension to guitar.

and after choose whatever settings you and this will stop the game from asking for the microphone

Thanks guys for the advice,
I now know that GH 1,2,3 and Aerosmith I can use a WiiMote (I also dont own any of those so I can't really get back up's :-( , though I do have a version of GH3 for the pc and a usb guitar which is very awful but would work using the emulated wiimote settings as a joystick/controller).
But I still don't own Wii versions.

I also have a new Wii guitar on order to replace my broken one - so Knglrk I did as you said... thank you, your comment was really useful.

Im using the Dolphin Wiimote New plugin, is it really as simple as just pluging the guitar in to wiimote?
(I did look through the software - plugin but couldn't find any settings so if it is that simple as just plug and play, fantastic!)

Chris
