We can and did prove it. Both 7xxx and 6xx cards were running at idle clocks while running dolphin. Forcing normal clock rates massively improved performance.
Just buy a 660 and be done with it. If it does have problems there are always workarounds available until the drivers are fixed.
Yeah, it was running at normal clock a month after the card lauched when the drivers were not really optimized but what about now? I've never seen anybody saying that the problem was fixed and who knows when it will? but is there a way that is 100% known to work and get the card out of sleep? I read about nvidia inspector or something like that but i just dont want to end up having a card worse then my old hd 6850. That just does not makes sense.
