That happens in master due to a bug that's unrelated.
Development Thread Testing of Audio Latency Fix branch

So in this build a lot of games wont display at all with Open GL. Skyward Sword and Donkey Kong won't give me any image in open gl. Also, I'm using HLE for skyward sword and I get this weird added little bit of static in a lot of different places. One example is at night in the knight academy building in skyward sword. Go to links bed, sleep until night then walk around in the building. Link's footsteps have this weird static sound added to them. That same type of sound has been heard in other games / places too. Any idea what it is or how to fix it? Also, when on my bird in skyward sword while looking towards skyloft the clouds' graphics flash. This happens in other places too, but this is just one example of it that's easy to replicate. The clouds basically just have this weird flashing back and forth.
Here is a fraps upload of the sound I'm talking about. It also happens with Dsound and with DSP on seperate thread checked. http://youtu.be/aSacISz0nss EDIT: Scratch that. OpenGL doesn't work for ANY game I have. Zelda Twlight Princess, Skyward Sword, Donkey Kong, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2.
Keytrun: are you sure there is no slowdown? The build in my first post add some warnings for slowdown, so check log configurations for warnings+common.
For Opengl: Dies build didn't touch video at all, so what do you mean with "doesn't work"? Crash, black screen, 0fps/60vps, ... 02-17-2014, 07:00 AM

No noticeable slowdown whatsoever. Not sure how / where to check log configuration. When I turn on OpenGL and start a game all I get is a black screen. No video whatsoever. 02-17-2014, 10:28 AM
Update your Nvidia drivers to the latest version available. Black screen is probably from the buggy buffer_stream method in the older driver version.

Thanks. That seems to have fixed it.
Should I be using OpenGL or Direct3d? Will it have any affect on the sound? 02-21-2014, 12:53 AM

I'm curious - is this audio latency fix implemented in the current version on the dolphin emu site? There's a newer version available on the site but I don't want it if it doesn't include this latency fix. Thanks.

Morged? How much of a difference do the newer versions really make? I'm on 854 dirty. Do you think there will ever be a mainstreamed way to save preferences for specific games
