@ dEnigma: Do I understand you correctly that you have not found any issues with the D3D11 and OpenGL backend? D3D9 is on the edge of being declared as "deprecated" (... not removed), exactly due to issues like this. Might very well turn out that the issues you mentioned are just due to D3D9.

For the record, earlier today I tried to compensate for the loss of speed caused by more accurate calculations done in this branch. However, while doing so I stumbled upon a ton of other bugs in the TEV emulation code. This is beginning to feel like a never ending odyssey...

(Except for the hovering shield issue, which I could not reproduce) 03-10-2013, 01:14 AM

Can you try running the fifo log yourself and check if the render output is the same? If they still don't show up, can you provide a memcard save + description how to get to the place where you took the screenshot from? 03-10-2013, 09:25 AM
Unrelated to this commit/branch but DX9 has a few issues OpenGL and DX11 don't such as in Starfox Adventures when you are in space in the Arwing the stars are huge white squares, when splashing in water you see tiny white squares.
Anyways I have not been able to find any issues with DX11 or OpenGL and this branch and DX9 is still untested by me. |
