IR does not scale properly unless you open up the GPU config window (even when it's set at anything > 1x resolution prior to loading a game). The tricky part is backtracking to see what revision it began with, please check the screenshots in my previous thread if you haven't already.

Uh, sure that the game is not just overriding your chosen global settings with per-game settings? ... like, in particular XFB or IR?

I tested it in different games, but the problem is still here. And I don't see in the config a parameter enforcing IR...

The fact I enter the config window and close it without changing any of the settings should be an indicator that the IR isn't initializing correctly. If you don't open the GPU window, the IR "remains" at x1 even when set at x2, but if you open and close the config window, it takes effect. Look at the screenshots again. I might make a video in 720p to show the difference. I'm not crazy, I know an IR issue when I see one. Older versions did not have this issue. Edit: Watch this video in full screen, it's easier to see at 720p. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ATmNLFFD...e=youtu.be http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3LMHQqEw...e=youtu.be Look at Busuzima before and after I open the window. Again, I only highlighted what was selected. Look at Gado at 0:22, you can clearly see aliasing in his hair, now, I opened and close the GPU config window without doing anything, now look at him after. Anti-aliasing took effect, all without me changing settings, and no my GPU is not at fault.

.. how do you know that the game is not just overriding your chosen global settings with per-game settings? ...
EDIT: Also, note that I don't want to waste my time watching youtube videos about random issues. If there is any necessary information that you haven't listed yet, you should write it in text from rather than in some weird yt video. 04-16-2013, 01:00 PM

I just don't remember it being in earlier versions of Dolphin. I showed the videos because sometimes people like visual aids and I find it easier to show people what I'm talking about. As for the per-game setting for IR, I see nothing like that when I right click the ISO and go to properties in the main GUI. I assumed that the Graphics config window overrode all games. Where are the settings to control the per-game IR? Edit: I'll do more testing and post screenshots that better explain, since I suck at explaining clearly. Update: Turns out the DirectX11 backend is the culprit, but was allegedly fixed in 3.5-1194 http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-dir...n-polygons

When will this be finalized/released or merged?
Custom HD Textures did not load for SMG 1 ( http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-sup...xture-pack ) Donkey Kong Country Returns, I kept getting "Wiimote Disconnected every 10 seconds". Would have to ALT + F5 all the time. 3.5-1056.

It's already been merged, a good friggin' month or two ago. You're already using it!
Your issue with the texture pack can be solved by either setting the Texture Cache Accuracy to Safe or by renaming all the files from RMGP01_*** to RMGE01_*** (this applies if you're using a US copy). Your issue with DKC can likely be solved by checking "Disable Wiimote Speaker". There are newer builds than 3.5-1056; you should use those, they're much nicer. http://dolphin-emu.org/download/ (To keep all your settings/saves, drag over your User folder, replacing the new one.)
