Yeah, issues that also affect LLE are unlikely to be fixed by new-ax-hle.

Its running quite well, but there is a problem in Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the new World for Wii.
It happens very often that there is a audio issue when you enter or leave a house. You can hear then some weird short noise for a moment, dont know how to explain in english so just try it, dont think that it is an problem of my side, because i tried laptop and pc and both had the same issue. LLE is running fine without that issue. Its a sound like looking analog tv and bad signal for a moment^^ I also tried already if dsound would work better but there is no difference. Your CPU can support it

I don't know if you guys already know this, anyway, Super Smash Bros Melee and Metroid Prime 1 GC BGM are stopping in HLE and LLE with both DSound and XAudio2.
In Super Smah Bros Melee the BGM is stopping very fast, right at the beginning of the music ingame, main menu music and in the intro movie too. In Metroid Prime 1 is random, some times the BGM stops faster and some times it takes a while to stop the BGM. Issue 5563 Editing: When the Speed up Disc transfer is "OFF" the BGM of Super Smah Bros Melee will not stop. (with Speed up Disc transfer "ON" the BGM stop right at the beginning of the music) In Metroid Prime 1 when the Speed uo Disc transfer is OFF, BGM still stops after while. (with Speed up Disc transfer "ON" some times the BGM don't play)

Dolphin [new-ax-hle] x64 3.0-844
Rampage Total Destruction Wii version (NTSC-U) crashes upon loading, but I should note it is a clean rip and works on USB loader on my Wii console just fine. So again, it is not a bad rip, as I ripped it myself and did NOT download it. It doesn't crash Dolphin-3.0-766-g208d25c_L102_x64_ICC made my Lectrode, but the build I posted at the top, it crashes, by showing a gray screen and Dolphin force-closes after that. Dolphin-3.0-766-g208d25c_L102_x64_ICC - Runs perfectly Dolphin [new-ax-hle] x64 3.0-844 - Crashes before loading the game Something ain't right here. My current settings, and yes, I have experimented with all the settings. Spoiler:

Alright, heres my assement so far. I have played several GC games, including Tales of Symphonia, Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, and Custom Robo. All sound issues are basically gone, however, for more higher pitched sounds, the new AX-HLE seems to be having a hard time coping. This is especially apparent when I play Custom Robo, due to the abnormal amount of higher pitched sounds in the game. It gets "fuzzy" and it may pop once in a while if it gets bad. Paper Mario is running fantastically, however im not sure if the crashes ive been having occasionally when I go into a random battle are casued by the new DSP, will have to test further. Not really any higher pitched sounds, so no audio "fuzziness". Tales of Symphonia is nearly perfect, however I have noticed that maybe a after a loop or two in some background musics can start to loose instruments here and there like when I was in Isalia, but with not other glitches. Also, voice's can be "fuzzy" sometimes also. All of these games were running at full fps/ speed. There is my "report" for now.
I am running the latest AX-HLE build 12-13-2012, 08:08 AM
hey delroth, i found another HLE issue. it happens in both the master and New AX-HLE, but not with LLE for either. The game is Pacman World 2, and it has issues during the beginning opening scene where it shows the Namco logo bouncing on the white screen and the little ® logo rolling towards the the Namco logo. When this cut scene shows, along with the cut scene showing the ghost gang stealing the golden fruit, the music will crackle, whether you have 100% speed or not. The crackling can get really disruptive, but interestingly enough, the music is perfect in the game with no issues whatsoever. Even the master HLE works perfectly during gameplay! It is only the intro and the beginning cutscene that is crackling.

Thanks for reporting that issue.
I haven't worked on new-ax-hle recently (working on some non Dolphin related stuff + studying for my final exams, so I'm a bit busy...) but I should get back to that soon. 12-13-2012, 11:56 AM
I guess the game broke when the new HLE code was implemented, what the f**k?
The game was not a bad rip!

I've said it several times on this thread: some Wii games are crashing with new-ax-hle, I know about it, and it's because there are two completely different versions of AXWii but only the most recent one is handled at the moment.
