(Alt+TAB or window key). You say you get 59.9FPS in fullscreen, but that is not slow right?

I don't believe this is the case. It's dependent on executable name, not window name. 07-21-2014, 01:00 PM

You're right, but it can be modified to read window names instead of process names. If the window was given the rom name, then it can be better identifiable with calling for a window's name in focus. It currently scouts for the process (exe name), but he's still active in the scene and can easily add it to scout for the window's name too. it's easier than moleboxing each game individually xD 07-21-2014, 01:15 PM
I get a 5% speedup in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 when going into exclusive fullscreen mode, dunno why you'd be losing speed.

I don't think you should trust any test results from my machine. Possibly because of nvidia inspector, even normal Dolphin build windowed has 3D Vision enabled, meaning my system is very likely not a good reference system.

OK removed the NVIDIA Inspector profile which was causing normal Dolphin to work in 3D.
Build downloaded a few hours ago. Auto multiple of 640x528. When entering fullscreen after game has begun booting, it takes about 10 seconds of black screen and very slow cursor movement. Then 3D Vision effect begins. When I exit fullscreen, 3D Vision still works?! Also now when I press Escape, it exits fullscreen, then prompts for exit, and when i press No, it does not restore it afterwards. If the main Dolphin window is not minimized, then instead of focusing the game window, it focuses the main Dolphin window instead. That's... not correct behavior in my opinion. Oh, and I got the black screen bug again. After blindly selecting "No", the proper window was focused. Maybe a race condition on window management or something like that? Is that supposed to happen? The stop confirmation now exits fullscreen to ensure we don't end up with a black screen due to the emulator pausing the renderer. The fact that the main UI gets into focus after pressing no is normal, I get the same thing in the normal development builds without exclusive fullscreen. While I'm working on that could you install Nvidia Inspector again and remove the Dolphin profile? Try it again after you do. 07-22-2014, 07:20 AM
I don't know why, but every time I remove the profile, it comes back. I'll report again once I have figured it out.
OK, I managed to get rid of it. My computer is acting weird, gives me a feeling as if it's infected with something. (That something is Windows.) It seems that 10-second hang was a one-time thing, it has not happened again. Still I feel like exclusive fullscreen is somewhat unreliable and/or unstable in general, I feel like it will crash my system any moment because of all sorts of little but scary issues. 07-22-2014, 07:30 AM
