Good news: you don't lose any data when updating! Dolphin uses a global user directory, so you can use new versions without having to worry about manually updating your save files

Are you launching Dolphin with the Steam overlay enabled or something like that?

Or do I just download any new Dolphin Client 09-06-2015, 02:05 AM

Unless you meant that it runs in the background without my permission If you're not launching it through Steam, Steam shouldn't affect anything. The only exception is if you've been using portable mode by putting a portable.txt file in the Dolphin.exe folder, in which case you will need to copy the User folder manually. 09-06-2015, 02:34 AM

[/quote] I can't figure out why the save data isn't transfering. I even copied all of the folders from my old version of dolphin and put them into the new download folder 09-06-2015, 03:49 AM
The only ones of those folders that are supposed to be there are Languages and Sys. The other ones look like they were moved from C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Dolphin Emulator, where they're supposed to be.
