Graphics getting worse in later builds

I have noticed that the graphics have become less crisp and more jagged in later builds, in the most recent build (r7187) I can see a radical difference from the former builds.

I have tested three builds (x64) back to back, with the same setting enabled, these are r6607, r6839 and the latest r7187, all with the same and latest drivers installed. And it seems that the graphics have become progressively worse, the textures less crisp and the pixels more jagged.

Have anyone else noted this change, and is there a reason for it?

Edit: One can test these builds back to back with Zelda WW in the intro, as the red dragon swoops across the island, notice the hanging bridge, the small trees behind links house and the general textures (they look less crisp).

Is this with efb scale set to fractional and efb scaled copy turned on?
Which plugin are you using?

SSAA has been broken since 6549.

The EFB scale is set to integral, and the plugin is Direct3D9 (though EFB is enabled in my current run in dx9 mode, but it does not produce any negative effects when enabled in any of the revisions). The settings are identical across the revisions i have tested back to back. And i have tried to tweak them in all manners in between to see what different results i get.

The best visuals i get with all of the revisions is with:
Direct3D9
1920x1080 (my native screen resolution)
AF x16
AA x9 SSAA
Load native mipmaps
Pixel lighting
Force bi/trilinear filtering
EFB scaled copy
EFB>integral>enabled cpu access>ram
Safe texture cache>enable>safe

The SSAA does produce a visible difference in r6607, but i suspect it could be better seeing that I'm running at a 1920x1080 resolution.

SSAA has been broken since 6549 (it still works but is far less effective) but fractional efb scaling should still work properly.

I might be able to figure out what's wrong but I need you to do some testing for me. Turn off ssaa and set the efb scale to fractional. Tell me if that makes the textures look better.

^I have edited my second post with additional info.

Edit: I will try it across the revisions I'm testing now.

Edit 2: With all the revision, SSAA set to zero and EFB set to fractional produced a much poorer picture quality, textures were more blurry and jagged, and the same result with the pixels.
Also here, the oldest revision (r6607) seemed to have the best visuals despite the settings, r6839 was even more blurry and jagged, and r7187 seemed to be worst.
Between r6607 and r6839 there isn't that much of a difference, but still visible (especially when I'm sitting close to my monitor running a 1920x1080 resolution).

Try 6505 (should be perfect).

And 6970.

Tell me your results. And make sure to try both integral and fractional (integral, integral + SSAA, fractional, fractional + SSAA).
