Mine also, but I got 3 pc's - two with Radeon graphics and one with nvidia, so generally the one with nvidia causes much more problems than both together with ATI's. No need to say that nvidia got huge lack of power if compared with ATI and more over for way too high price I've paid for it. Nvidia got slow ddr3 on board ram when both Radeons got gddr5 so I have no idea why it was so expensive but I think this was my last nvidia for very long time now.

What are all these issues you guys have had with nVIDIA? I've never had any.

I had one, with AA on I had problem playing ToS (sometimes black screen when leaving a map). Well, as long as I can play games and other graphical programs, I don't care so much which one is better. Availability is more important than the price, because if no one sell it, no one can afford it (ATI lacks promotion at my country, almost every countries, I think). 05-16-2009, 10:52 PM
Let's end this conversation with one more question
Compared to ATI is nVIDIA Cheaper or more expensive? 05-16-2009, 10:57 PM

ATI is cheaper(Well it is where i live)
ati graphics cards look like crap. when i was looking for the a good graphics card i tried the ati 4870 512mb and the gtx 260. the 4870 would play games in worse quality than the gtx 260 nvidia. nvidia always have better graphics and more game companies back nvidia up than ATI could ever have. I have also noticed on multiple other machines that nvidia graphic cards look better than any ati graphics card in the market. ATI probally uses cheaper components, thus the quality level is lowered compared to nvidia.
Ive noticed nvidia looks better than ati in the following test games BIOSHOCK TEAM FORTRESS 2 LEFT 4 DEAD Gears of WAR(huge quality lost in ati graphics cards) HALO 2 VISTA Half life 2 series Dead Space and many more
Windows 7 x64 bit service pack 1
Crosair H100 Core i7 2600k OC 4.5ghz Asus Sabertooth p67 8gb 1866mhz Crosair Vengence DDR3 Asus gtx 580 matrix. EVGA gtx 580 both SLI 80 gb ssd Vertex 2 500 gb hdd 1200 AX Crosair power supply 05-16-2009, 11:15 PM

They both have the same quality.
I shouldn't even make a difference its just the computing capabilities and the speeds they work at which really changes. If you run lets say Fallout 3 on full graphics on a Nvidia gpu it would look the same as on a ATI gpu on full graphics. 05-16-2009, 11:18 PM
Not really, Ive read several reviews of games, including the recent RIDDICK game. talking about nvidia graphics look better in almost every game.

For such crap like gtx 260 the competition from ATI is 4600-series or something like that for half of the price u have to pay for gtx 260. Not mention "cheaper component" gddr5 ram in ATI cards and damn fast and expensive ddr3 in crappy gtx 260. |
