Graphical glitches on OS X

Hi,

I'm running a 2015 MacBook Air with Intel HD Graphics 6000, which I know is not a dedicated graphics card. I've noticed while playing some games (e.g. Mario Kart: Double Dash!!) there seems to be graphical glitches like this:

See the bottom right where for some reason part of the road is see-through. I also noticed the textures are broken on Rainbow Road partially, and the bridge at the beginning of Bowser's Castle becomes invisible when you drive on it.

Is this just something I'll have to deal with as part of using this graphics and Mac OS X, or is it something else? I once used 4.5 on the same computer, and I don't recall any of the said issues happening.

Thanks for any support.

With the way OSX's drivers are, unfortunately this may be just how it is sometimes. The best thing you can do is record a fifolog, and see if anyone else on a different driver runs into the issue.

You could dual boot with a Linux distro such as Antergos or Ubuntu. That also enables you to use Vulkan, so you'll probably see speed improvements.

I'm not sure how to dual-boot on a Mac, but I am planning to do it in the future.
Thanks for the suggestion!
