graphic question

hello,

just wondered if anyone could help me, I am trying to play super smash bros melee on the dolphin emulator but am experiencing some graphical errors on a modern reasonable machine.

there seems to be two black blocks in the corners of the screen, I have attached a screenshot to show the problem.

if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. all settngs are default apart from force 16:9 and widescreen hack.

p.s I love the emulator, solid job

It's probably because of the widescreen hack. The game was only designed to display the right things in the 4:3 area.

If you update to a development version or 5.0 release candidate, there should be a better widescreen hack available for SSBM as a code you can enable in the game properties. Use that instead of enabling Dolphin's widescreen hack.

ill give that a try

edit: upgraded to release candidate, and using opengl without widescreen hack and using force 16:9 has fixed the problem
