Gradual slowdown in Twilight Princess[GC]

First, here are my system specs:
AMD Phenom II X4
6GB Kingston DDR2-1066
ATI Radeon 5770
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Dolphin Version 3 64-bit

I'm using the Direct3D 9 rendering engine, with all the recommended settings from the wiki, and I'm using the Twilight Princess Speed Hack. To be honest, though, I've yet to find anything that can tank this thing -- until now. x.x;

When I first started the game, it ran 100%, no hiccups of any kind, even in Hyrule Field. It seems like after I entered the western portion of Hyrule Field, the whole thing just took a nosedive. It'll run fine in any of the villages or dungeons, but it'll barely manage 10-12 FPS in Hyrule Field or Lake Hylia. Is this still a known bug? I've been trying to wade through the various slowdown topics, but they're all old, and all they say is to enable the speed hack, which I do have enabled. Help please? I was really getting into the game! o.o

I have. I've searched every topic within the last year, and tried everything. Nothing works.

That's strange because for me it's almost full-speed all the time wherever I go and I have a completed savegame which have the entire map covered.
Check my screen-shot collection here: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=16835
10-12FPS sounds a little to low in my ears.

From now on it will be called "Hyrule Field's Theorem" and it says that : the farther you are in the game the slower Hyrule Field is

try using older revision, i know i've played it fine with one, albeit with slowdown in hyrule field but still very playable.

unfortunately, i forgot which revision i used to play with.

Gee I wonder why.....[/sarcasm]

@C-Man

It's a very well known problem. Only the most powerful cpus in existence using the ZTP hack can run hyrule field at fullspeed late game.

This is not true. I have pentium dual core e6600 ( overclocked to 4 ghz though ) and it works just fine. It used to run at 5 fps before speed hack was invented for the game and all improvements to the dolphin were made
Now it runs 23-24 fps late game for me,and that is with everything maxed ( high resolution,antialiasing etc ) If I turn everything down I get fullspeed ( 30 fps )

C-man did you try overclocking your cpu ? At atleast 3.7-3.8 you should be getting same speed as I am

Exactly how far into the game are you? Have you reached the mirror of twilight yet? Is efb copy set to ram, virtual (texture), or both? What revision are you using? What graphics card do you have (it's odd that you are reporting a speed increase from lowering resolution)? Which video backend are you using?

I'm getting 16-22fps with my Q6600 @ 3.2GHz. But that's certainly not fullspeed. And an E6600 @ 4.0GHz is very high end even for dolphin.

@C-Man

Do you have efb copy ram unchecked?

I know it's off-topic but i've always wondered about it:What does the ZTP hack do exactly?Does it remove something from the game to make it run faster?
